Spada MX Air Glove - Fluorescent
Customer Product Reviews
Very comfortable and airy gloves with a good feel.Quite robust overall. I quite like the pillows on the palm of the hand that provide comfort primarily in travel at constant speeds. In order to be better, it was enough to bother some interior seams which in my view are a little thick.
Good value Summer gloves
Good quality, well made gloves as you would expect from Spada. Size wise if you prefer a glove that stretches to fit a little over time then go with the size you are off the guide. If you are not a fan of stretching to fit or you have longer than normal hand size, they are a shorter glove, then go one size up and they will be fine. The only armour is on the knuckles which is a very hard material. Overall a good comfy set of Summer gloves.
Great in hot weather
Bought for a tour round Spain. Temperatures got up to mid 30s and the vents were perfect at keeping your hands cool. Also got up into mountains where ice formed on visor and although hands were cold it was bearable. I was at maximum sizing for L and was concerned that they were too tight but they soon relaxed into a perfect fit. Amazing gloves for the price. Only reason for not putting 5 stars is because of the short length of time I have had them.
Nice Summer glove
Very nice glove for Summer use. Good protection on the knuckles and feels nice on the hand and is not too hot ( when we get Summer). Good price and quick delivery. This is the second pair I have bought but have gone up in size to XL. I always find glove sizes difficult to gauge. I do not have large hands but XL is good for me.
These motocross style gloves are cool in warm weather, provide great feeling in the fingers and I think look quite good. They offer some protection on the knuckles but they are more off-road gloves not road gloves so not sure how the gloves as a whole would hold up in an accident they are quite thin but thankfully I'm not having to give a first-hand review on that! The Velcro wrist strap holds the glove on tight to keep it on. The size guide is pretty accurate but I was in between sizes, the larger pair were better as the smaller of the two were a little tight and the finish inside the tips of the fingers a little uncomfortable. Overall, not bad.
Good when you bear in mind the price
These gloves have poor quality control. Both gloves are not identical, the padding on the left gloves rests about half an inch higher than on the right glove despite both being the same size. The index and middle finger both have a hexagon rubber padding, presumably for a little extra grip on the levers. After a day's riding a few hexagons had started to peel away. The knuckle protection is flexible, having researched carbon fibre I have been left to believe that it must simply be a thin sheet of carbon fibre over a plastic mould. It is essentially for decoration. The palmed area is also a very thin suede imitation. I do wonder how these gloves would truly hold up in a crash, although I don't intend on doing a test :p Saying that, they are a light, breathable glove with good air flow. On one of the hottest days in south England my hands didn't feel hot or sweaty at all.
Cool summer gloves.
I bought these gloves for riding in Spain and have been very happy with this purchase. I rode in 32 degree temps and my hands didn't feel overly warm at all. I went with my normal glove size and the fit was just right. They have good knuckle protection and perforations around the fingers and a vent on the knuckle guard. Recommended.
