ARMR Moto WPS340 Glove - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Good not great
Seems well put together and was warm but became sweaty after a while. Didn't rain so don't know about waterproofing. Construction seems good and sizing about right. The cuff is a little awkward to fasten well, but overall good for the price.
Good product but not the bees knees
I traveled 100 miles from Bristol to London in rain (on the day Moto GP 2018 was cancelled at Silverstone) in late summer on a naked bike and by the time I got home 2hrs later the gloves were soaked and my hands were wet. They lasted about 30-35mins if memory served me correctly before dampness set in. Hope that helps. Decent product but not fully WP.
Great winter glove
Had these gloves a few weeks now and there great! Not had wet hands all the way through January, even when building snow men with them! Very comfortable and keeps the wind chill at bay! Only down side for me is that the thumbs are quite long but doesn't interfere with riding. Overall great glove and great price. Service from the website was spot on as usual! Be buying again soon!
Good fit but not totally warm
I bought these based upon reviews but still found that my hands were numb after riding to work. I've since bought some scooter muffs for the handlebars which make all the difference. My knowledge on what to expect from motorcycle gloves is limited but they are a good fit and feel comfortable but I wouldn't be able to feel my hands without the scooter muffs in these freezing temperatures.
Warm, great price
Fantastic pair of gloves. Very warm and waterproof so far. A little stiff to start with, and quite difficult to operate levers. Then again, a pair of thin gloves will do for changing gears around town but these are perfect for longer winter journeys.
Quality glove at budget price
An excellent glove at under £40. Nice soft leather, gives good feeling on the levers. One of the second knuckle protectors on my ring finger was a little uncomfortable to begin with but has since eased up. The cuff length could be a little longer but OK. Took a chance on size and fitted as hoped. Fast dispatch from Sportsbikeshop as usual.
Allow for dexterity
These are a great pair of gloves that are warm, comfortable and most importantly for me, allow for a good level of dexterity. Many other winter / weatherproof gloves feel extremely bulky and greatly reduce my sense of touch, these do not. I have experienced only a light shower and these gloves kept my hands waterproof. I should also mention that I have quite short stubby fingers and the length on these is very good for me, with the thumb still slightly long but more than adequate.
Good for the price
There are plenty of positive reviews on this product, so I'll concentrate on some negatives as I see them. I found the cuff length a tad too short for my liking, but this is a design thing really. It is really strange, as I can place them up against my other gloves that are OK, and they seem identical in length. So maybe that's just me! The other issue I've found, which might be related to the waterproof aspect of this glove, is that you can find your hands sweating in warming weather. I didn't notice this whilst riding but only when I took off the gloves and had to put them back on shortly afterwards - difficult. But overall still a good product for the price.
I bought these gloves recently. Decided to get thick, waterproof winter gloves since riding in December in Ireland is still very much possible. I had the opportunity to test these gloves in the rain. After riding for 30 minutes in a heavy shower my hands were still dry.
Think I was unlucky
These appear a good value, high quality glove. They are a good spec and offer a nice balance of thermal protection versus feel / dexterity. The left glove was extremely comfortable, but the stitching was coming undone around the knuckle. The right glove was very uncomfortable, with the edge of the knuckle armour digging into my knuckles (I should point out that I have no hand-related deformities and have had hard armoured gloves in the past!). I'm sure if I'd swapped for a different pair, they'd have been fine and I'd have been very happy, but I preferred not to risk it and chose an alternative glove. As I suggest in the review title - I suspect these are very good gloves but my experience was an unlucky one.
An idea replacement that won't break the bank
I was looking for a winter glove as the ones I had were just not cutting it. They're a vast improvement to my previous gloves, very well made and comfortable. The tips of my fingers did feel slightly cold after a 45min ride in February but for the price of the gloves I don't think it's too bad :) I have yet to try them in the rain.
