Furygan D02 Aramid Fibre Jeans - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Good strong jeans, armour includes hips
After some research I got these and having worn the a whole day, they're very good: well made, a safe quality brand and have good protection for jeans. The protection includes the usual anti-abrasion liner but also includes hip armour, not all jeans have this. Comfortable to wear, note they do need a belt due to the materials stretch. Sizing: I'm 34inch waist, I needed XL, so you really do need to order up by one size. I find the leg length perfect with bike boots, I'm a 32inch leg. Highly recommended.
Nice pants, I'm a 34 waist and a 34 fits good. Hip armour could not tell it was in until on a bike. Waist tightens up a bit but they get comfortable quick. Knee armour is good but moves about a bit being a jean that is a loose fit unlike a tight race suit all in all I like them a lot .
These jeans are a superb summer solution. Slim fitting with the adjustable knee pads and hip protection. Very long in the leg and for most people will need taking up, unless you have a 32 inch waist and are 6'8 inch tall ! Very good quality material on the main jean and would protect well.
Good quality jeans, good padding that sits in the right places. Comfortable, for walking around in as well as sitting on the bike. Size guide was spot on and service from Sportsbikeshop was excellent as always. No fuss, prompt delivery and even though i didn't have to, I know their returns policy is also sound. I definitely will come back to SBS again.
Brought as a present for my partner and they're a great looking pair of jeans, very well made and a lovely dark denim colour. The padding is subtle and almost not noticeble when they're being worn which I know a lot of people worry about. Great product for any biker who likes a more casual look.
These are my first foray into the riding jeans market so I did a little research before taking the plunge. After reading many reviews I took a look at these bad boys from Furygan. I'm a 34 long in regular jeans so took past reviewer's advice and went for an XL. A wise choice sir, ooh, suits you! A little extra room round the waist, helps to accommodate that racing crouch! Length is perfect. All up, a well made, good looking pair of great looking jeans. Just the job :)
Look good, great wind protection
Great jeans! Look good, you'd not know they were biker jeans by looking at em. Furygan sizing is tight for example, I bought 2XL and a week later bought a pair of trousers from Primani in 36 inch, both fit fine. The reason for 4 stars not five? The knee protectors do rub as you're walking, but hey we're bikers yeah?
Comfortable & quality
These look like regular, if somewhat heavy-duty jeans. They're actually quite light though and the armour in the knees is also lightweight. Reinforced at the crucial points and strongly stitched. The quality of the sticking is high. As with most French items, I find the sizes small. I take a 38" in trousers but found this size impossible to wear in these jeans. I re-ordered some in 40" and these are perfect for me (if a touch long). Return/Re-order with Sportsbikeshop was extremely easy and efficient.
Good product at the price
These are a great pair of jeans. I tried 3 other makes and these were far the most comfortable, best fitting and best look, in fact it is quite hard to tell they are motorcycle jeans when you are off the bike. I suggest go one size up on your normal fit. Recommend for the price.
Excellent product, beware of sizing
Superb product, very comfortable and protection in the right places! Only downside was the sizing. I'm 5'10 and 12 stone and every pair of jeans I own are 32s, but was unable to get these over my thighs! Returned for next size up.
These are my third pair of Kevlar jeans and so far I'd say there the best. The D30 armour is the main reason I went for these as I really like the technology and it doesn't disappoint. Because the pads are flexible they are more comfortable when worn off the bike and they are much much much easier to get in and out of the jeans. The jeans themselves look good sleek but not overstated. The stitching is good quality and the Kevlar coverage is good but the Kevlar dose seem a lot softer then on my other pairs. They come up in a straight fit with an accurately sized waist line, but if like me you have wide legs then you may find them tight around the thighs. My main gripe is that they only do a regular length leg, which for me means they come up very long as short leg jeans often come up slightly too long on me. Also worth noting the crease very easily and I wouldn't recommend ironing them. but other than that I would recommend them.
