Rev'it Bleeker Leather Boots - Brown
Customer Product Reviews
Having read the sizing issues I went for my standard size 9. When the boots arrived (promptly) yes they were a little tight getting on and off but having worn them for a few weeks they are now running in. Leather is a natural thing and given time and care will give and mold to you. The zip issue is probably another newness issue, I am being careful so far so good. Nice pair of boots.
Firstly maybe someone in the Rev'it sizing department should get some glasses. I have been size 10(44)most of my life and because of a medical issue I need plenty of room in my footwear so decided to go for a 44 (despite the numerous warnings in various reviews). They were massive and even with thick socks and insoles were too big. A size smaller is OK for me and a big thank you to Sportsbikeshop customer service for not only price matching in the 1st place but also replacing and sorting returns foc. The boots themselves I think look great with jeans although I would prefer a bit higher in the leg to prevent the draft! (longer socks required) Overall I am very happy with the cool retro product and especially the customer service.
Not as cool as I expected
For some reason I expected these boots to be a little more faded or distressed looking. However they arrived and were, well very brown! This is not a bad thing and entirely my fault, if I wanted something cooler looking I should probably have went for a different style / brand, maybe TCX. The boots arrived in excellent time and great service as usual form Sportsbikeshop. They appear well made and are comfortable. I agree with other review that they do run large. I'm normally a 46 but went for a 45 having read the other reviews and glad I did, as they are just about right with a thick sock. The calf/shin area is particularly wide and if you're not used to this style boot may feel odd and leaves a nice draft up you trousers on cold days. Overall a good quality boot, but a bit drab.
I bought these as a birthday present for my husband. I love boots and thought that these were a perfect combination of style and usability for the bike. My husband is extremely pleased with them (got it right again!) sizing was accurate so no returns needed.
Stylish and practical
After a few days of wearing them in they were very comfortable, although after two weeks the zip broke as it is quite flimsy. The rest of the boots seem well made and Sportsbikeshop did send me a new pair, although I had to pay for them to be returned as I live in the North East of Scotland. They are certainly not waterproof, but will keep out light rain and drizzle. Overall I am satisfied with them as they can be used both on and off the bike.
Ive been looking for a pair of good boots to wear both on and off the bike. These are great value, well made and fit the bill. They seem to come up a bit big, as others have stated, bit I didn't mind having a bit of air around my feet! All said and done I'm very happy.
Excellent boots, as others have said; very good quality, both uppers and the soles. I made the purchase as I wanted boots that I could wear both on and off my cruiser. A word of warning about sizing; I tried these boots on initially at my local bike shop where I was able to get my feet into the 42's, 43's and 44's! I've been a size 43 for about forty years so this was a surprise. I also have a high instep but even the 42's slip on a treat. In the end I ordered size 44, use an insole and these boots are now a more comfortable fit than my previous bike boots. I'm very happy with them.
I'd been looking round for a pair of boots which suited my style of bike (bobbed VL800) as I'd been wearing my work boots (Steitz waterproof steelies) which were fine, but were "ungainly". However much I looked, all I seemed to come up with was sports or long distance tourer types. There were a few "crusier" (cowboy, engineer) styles, but they were "pull-ons" & I struggle getting that style on, so I needed a pair with laces or a zip. Saw these & these ticked all the boxes. They look even better than in the photos. The distressed look is great & the fit is spot on (for years I've been buying UK 10's when I should have gone for Euro 44's, which is actually 9.5) - they're comfy enough just to wear as a pair of going out boots. Don't know if they're waterproof, not been out in the rain - although I could go & splash in a puddle to try them!! The zip feels a bit "weedy" but only time will tell on that. All in all, great.
