Shark Vancore Wipeout - Matt Green Camo / Yellow
Customer Product Reviews
Love the look have had a lot of compliments on it. The goggles are a snug fit minimal wind between them and the helmet. Only one vent which doesn't give enough air flow through the top of the helmet. But isn't too much of an issue for me, but that's why it is 4 stars.
This helmet looks the biz...... Thought it might be tricky not having a visor when you stop.... Not the case though......it does not fog up the ski mask goggles at all.... I love it....... The camouflage paint is wicked and built quality and design is very clever. Also very lightweight........ Nothing like this on the market.....
Glad I chose this helmet
I bought this helmet because of the unique style it has. It looks much better in person and I'm more than happy with my purchase! Be aware that this style of helmet may not fit your head but you can order the helmet to try it on and send it back if you find it uncomfortable.
Had some reservations about this helmet but it really is great. Easy to get on and off, super comfortable and the goggles are great, with a great fit. I use the helmet for little urban rides to work and the shops and it's perfect. Service was spot on too, blows other sites away.
First of all, the helmet looks fantastic. To say its style over content, wouldn't be quite fair, however, it does have its issues. The main one I have found after only a week of use, is the elastic on the goggles is both prone to getting loose and also seems to be fraying away already. The fraying is being caused by the elastic getting caught on the velcro on my gloves or jacket randomly, not much to be done about that I suppose. The only other issue I have with it is the vent on top, its useless and it rattles when its open, that's really the only sign that the vent is in fact open, as it doesn't seem to let any more air in than when its closed. The goggles themselves are great, no fogging whatsoever.
Brilliant, awsome looking helmet
A stylish and brilliantly functional helmet, the looks are epic and the helmet functions very well. The goggles provide excellent wind and rain protection and I have not experienced any misting what so ever. It may be a little awkward if you want to remove the googles whilst riding, but ventilation is great so I don't see why you would need to. Overall a great helmet, well worth the money.
Brilliant all round
As like a few people, I started looking at the Shark Raw with its almost mean look to it, however when I had tried it on in a store it is a lot larger than it looks on it's own, making you look like a bobble head. The massive jaw this full face version has completed the look and although is a big helmet, doesn't look out of proportion to the rider. But not everything is about the look, it is a very comfy helmet and easy to get on and off even without having to remove the goggles each time, which is a bonus when I use it for commuting every day. 0 mist in wet/dry/cold/warm, no flicking a visor up at the lights and back down when you set off, and the noise is pretty good too, muffles the wind just enough but can still hear the bike perfectly. Delivery was crazy fast as well, and I have a free bag to keep my old lid in too now. Love the helmet, love the service, what more can I say. Keep it up
I've been looking for a new helmet for a while now and as soon as I saw this one it jumped out at me. Great styling, comfy to wear and even with my glasses on, the fogging is minimal (anyone who wears glasses will know what a nightmare fogging is with a visor). I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a great helmet at a reasonable price.
Fantastic well fitted, sharp styled helmet
A stylish helmet from Shark with a quality finish, optically clear goggles which do not mist up due to the goggles sealing around your eyes keeping your nose separate. The comfortable interior padding, which fits perfectly but feels rather tight to get on and off. The only downside from a practicality perspective is that you cannot simply lift the goggles when stationary like you can with a traditional, full face helmet - something to bare in mind. But otherwise a fantastic, well fitted helmet with the added benefit of making you look like something out of a well known sci-fi franchise!
I really liked the look of the Shark Raw helmet but wanted full face, so when this came out I went for it. I was worried Shark helmets are on the small size and although tighter than my old helmet in XL a Lazer it fits well. The goggles are fab, no more fogging and I find the visibility good. Another plus side is that it looks just great. Had some good remarks from people I've ridden past. So if you fancy one I'd go ahead a get one and remember if you do end up with the wrong size you can return it and exchange FOC. I found the that really easy when I had to change some gloves I bought last year.
Stylish alternative to a typical full face lid
A well made and stylish helmet from Shark. Quality finish, optically clear goggles, comfortable interior padding, easy to use fastening system. I have two other Shark lids, the RSR2, and I would say this lid is slightly smaller comparing sizes (I am a small and this feels a bit tighter to get on and off). Only downside from a practicality perspective is that you cannot simply lift the visor /goggles when stationary like you can with a traditional, full face helmet - something to keep in mind. But a fair trade-off if you want to look like Darth Vader on a bike...
