Oxford Continental 2.0 Textile Jeans - Black
Customer Product Reviews
ON paper it has all the credentials Plus: long leg version available, good outside pockets, acceptable armour Minus: heavy, thermal liner is not warm & too thin & it always gets caught up, not tailored properly but just thrown together; excess material, bulky, boot entry zip/ velcro poorly designed and the front zip is too short! at £100, it is a decent buy. Comfortable, dry, warm
Great fit. Very comfortable. Keep me warm and dry. If anything they're a bit too warm. Probably best for winter. Nice and easy to get on and off. They do ride up a bit from the ankles when riding, and the knee protectors rub my knee a bit sometimes but these are minor complaints. Overall great value.
Good value, good fit and waterproof
I bought the Continental 2.0 jeans to replace my existing and not very waterproof textile jeans and I am very happy with them. My first ride was 170 miles, a lot of it in the rain, some of it very heavy and the trousers remained 100% waterproof. I ordered my usual waist size in regular length and they are a good fit although with the liners in they are a bit bulky but still fit fine. Because it's June and meant to be summer I have taken the liners out but have found you get a little sweaty at a standstill but better when moving and probably cooler again with the air vents open but with the weather I was riding in this was not possible to test out. I bought these at the same time as the Montreal 3.0 jacket and they work together very well. Sportsbikeshops service was top notch as always and I would happily recommend them to anybody.
comfortable and warm
These are my first pair of textile trousers, having worn leather motorcycle trousers in the past. Worn for the first time two days after receiving them - I found them to be extremely comfortable and very warm. I say very warm, not to the extent of being over hot. Excellent product as are other Oxford products which I have purchased in the past.
Was looking for a pair of textile jeans to wear all year round. Read the reviews before buying and am really pleased. Also bought the Bull-it Covec hip armour that fits well and is unobtrusive. I often have to buy a size bigger but bought my actual size which fitted perfectly. Jeans are well made and warm.
Not bad at all
These are well made and so far waterproof. 4 hours of motorway riding in the rain no problem. I use them every day for work and they have performed well. Only issue is that the legs are very baggy. However the ankles are tight so have a tight seal on my bulky Forma boots. Warm, yes but the warmest? No. Probably only need to go a size more than you think you need not 2 like I did.
