Dojo Hara Jeans - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Very warm for summer day but in Irish weather really good all rounder. I am usually size 36 but I went for size 40 and its perfect fit to put over normal jeans. I like the zips pockets and overall quality is very good. For the money I paid the product is excellent value! Very happy!
I've never been keen on wearing protective trousers to walk around in whilst out with the bike and these "jeans" haven't changed my mind. The problem is they are always too bulky to be called jeans. Having only worn this pair once in the cold & rain they did the protection job well. They didn't feel too bulky whilst on the bike the knee pads seem to be in the right place whilst riding , you'll need knee high boots though as the length hovers mid calf on the bike, normal when stood. They are worth the money, but if you like to have a walk about mid ride maybe look at another brand.
Warm but not waterproof in heavy rain around groin
I got these free with the jacket so cant complain too much. They are very warm and comfortable, reasonable armour. They fit easily over my jeans so are convenient for a quick ride. They are not waterproof on the groin seam and in heavy rain they will leak. Go for a size up as the legs tend to ride up.
Zip on back does not connect to same brand jacket
Well let's just put it this way there is a reason they are given away for free. Have had them 1 month and they have ripped on the inside down the middle. The buckle on the side has split in half while getting the fit correct and the most annoying part is the zip does not match the same brand jacket.
Too good to be true
Good points - Warm - mostly dry - good adjustment - cheap Bad points - left zipper snapped in half after 1 ride - The 2 side pockets are tiny, can barely fit my house keys in. Definitely not a phone of any size - There is very little if any adjustment for the knee pads I would recommend not wearing them in the trousers but having a pair that go directly onto your leg - Too short! You have to wear them very high for the knee pads to actually be over your knees so the trousers ends up coming half way up my shin (fine if you wear big Motocross boots) but very cold and wet if you don't! To sum up I wouldn't recommend these! If they sort out the zipper quality and the knee pad adjustment and maybe made the pockets large enough for any sort of phone in the next version then I'd give them ago. But these just were too good to be true for the price!
