Rev'it Kryptonite GTX Gloves - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Decent, but pricey
I don't like gauntlets, so I got these and so far they've been great. They're good for about 90 minutes in sub 6 degrees. By then I need to stop and warm up the tips of my fingers. I also have a £40 set of gauntlets, which are only slightly not as good. Only slightly, mind, so I appear to have paid a premium for not liking gauntlets. Having said that, I like them - they're comfortable and a good fit (I got the "snug" fit, and true to another review I read, they have accommodated my mits).
I haven't had a chance to test this product properly yet, but I would say that the standard of this product looks and feels great, quality/premium material feel, great fit. Order to your exact size the gloves stretch slightly and fit very well. As always fantastic service from sbs.
Well made and warm
Great glove, warm and dry, Definetly a snug fit, Go a size up than usual which I did , they are well made and should last well, like the fact that they are shorter so I can get them under my dainese jacket, my only gripe is the finger armour is very stiff and makes my finger joints hurt, hopefully this will be more pliable over time.
Excellent winter gloves
I was a bit sceptical about these gloves, but I can honestly say they are excellent gloves, much better than my gauntlet type I have, size wise they fit very well,a snug fit but as with all gloves will stretch with time, I am very pleased with my purchase, and as always Sportbikeshop delivered on time, for the price these gloves do a great job.
These gloves are a good compromise between warmth and protection. Armour is substantial , waterproofing appears to work well (So far) but hands are still a bit cold at 6 or 7 degrees C. I imagine any lower could be really uncomfortable. This is fine for me as I'm a mostly fair weather rider. Also, they need a pull tab. Every time I put them.on I'm worried about damaging the join between the knitted cuff and the leather. I reckon you could get a warmer glove for much less but probably not one which has the all round capability that these gloves do. I'm happy.
Winter is coming
Having got used to the amazing weather, I got caught out with a sudden down pour and got soaked for four hours - decided to bite the button and buy some decent gloves for Autumn. These are excellent, good fit and have a real quality feel about them.
Great cold weather gloves
Delighted with the Rev'it Kryptonite gloves. Unlike a lot of cold weather gloves these feel flexible and don't reduce the feel of the bike. Hands a warm and dry after rides with temps as low as 3'C. Delighted with my purchase.
High quality winter glove
I have now used these gloves several times in cold weather and find they keep my hands at a comfortable temperature. The knuckle protection on the upper side is a good safety feature, and the elasticated cuffs ensure a windproof seal between sleeve and glove.
Does what it says on the tin - that's it
I got these as a replacement for my old Rukka Virium X-trafit GTX gloves. So far so good, not cold it is OK comfortable. The best feature is probably the connected figure tips (enable touch sense on mobile devices). They are advertised as winter glove so It is a bit chunky, so you do lose a bit of feel when it comes to operating the bike. Then again in the description it is just a windproof gloves so it isn't gonna keep you warm in the extremely cold weather. I did tried having them with the heat grip turned on as well, heat seems to travel through the material so I reckon it will be OK for my commute in town during the winter, but might need something better for touring.
Best purchase I've made yet
I've bought a lot of other equipment, mostly on the cheaper side. This is an ideal price point for a very high quality pair of gloves. So far I am not cold, I stay dry, and they are very comfortable. Bonus points with not having to take the gloves off for phone use. Sizing is accurate, got the right pair on the first try.
