RST Adventure 2 WP Boot - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Great Adventure boots
These boots are comfortable and performed well recently in the driving rain keeping ne dry and really warm, in fact a tad too warm on the hot days we have had this year. I bought a size up from my normal size and they fit great. I would highly recommend these boots for quality and value to anyone they are really great .
Torrential downpour - Check!
These boots are a replacement for another make that failed after 18 months. Only had these new boots less than 3 weeks before going on a trip to the Scottish Islands and the north of Scotland. Like most boots they do hurt a wee bit at first but comfy to walk in, I must have sticky out ankle bones as all boots hurt there at first. The weather for the first 4 days, showers at times but on the fifth day it was torrential rain being blown with 40+ mph winds sideways across the A9, visibility was down to a few metres. Then it was just heavy rain for the next 140 miles home. I got home checked my feet and they were just the slightest bit damp but I honestly think that was probably sweat having had the boots on for 9 hours. I think these boots stood up to a very good test on their first outing and so far I am happy with them. Now just to keep them protected.
Greal adventure boots
Haging read other reviews on the fitting of these boots, I purchased a size bigger as when your wearing thick socks these can feel a bit tight. I have yet to break these in proper but they are a good fit but can be a bit fiddly to buckle up the straps, so bit of patience is required. Great looking boot for the price.
All good so far
Bought these to go with my new rst adventure clothing. Had previously tried some Alpinestar boots but couldn't get them on under the trousers! These seem just as sturdy but not such bulky fastenings. The fit is also better, I have wide size 10 and 45 is perfect. Easy to use bike controls as well. They are destined for two weeks in India so will get a proper workout there!
Really nice boots
After much deliberation and getting a tiger I opted for these boots which were great from start and very comfy Have done 200 miles in them at 11 degrees and very warm and sturdy. The buckles are a bit flimsy but do the job .One size up as advised works for me Yet to use them in very wet conditions and they maybe warm in the summer. I was a bit worried about gear change as the soles are thick but had no real problems Very pleased with purchase and customer service as ever
Nice boot and great service
I had a pair of RST boot before so went for the same size. These have a lot more padding in the calf area. Customer service were brilliant, they measured the next size up and swapped out the pairs. The boot fit well, I have not worn them in heavy rain yet but very happy so far.
Good boots and great service
Initially purchased my usual size, but these boots are definitely on the small size, so as per others - go up a size. Service from Sportsbikeshop brilliant. Phoned them, and they reserved me the next size up and new pair sent to me immediately my return was received. Boots are well made and strong. Good value for money, and should hold up well. Only thing is that I find the tops a little tight on my calves, but not uncomfortably so. Recommended
As others have said go one size up. I would have struggled to get fat right foot into an 11. checked for flexibility and fit by clumping up and downstairs much to her indoors annoyance but proved to be very comfortable. Boots were bought by me, for me, tested by me but still had to be wrapped for Santa to surprise me on Christmas morning !!!!
RST adventure 2 boot.
I bought these boots to replace my last pair which lasted 5 years of riding 20miles per day 6 days a week. On the 8th day of wearing the RST in 20minutes of rain they let in water through the bottom of the Velcro flap even though they where done up tight under my waterproof textile jeans. Very disappointed but they were £200 cheaper than my last pair so I guess my expectations where unreasonable. A shame because they were comfortable, looked and felt much more expensive than the £100 price tag.
I definitely advice minimum 1 size up. I wear normally 40, have a narrow feet. I bought 41, it felt just in the beginning (need to cut nails) but got a bit longer after 1 month use. The stiffness loses quickly to become very comfy and good value for this price. I rode over 6000 miles and they start to wear a bit and feel a bit too warm in summer. But still very happy.
lots of boot for the money
Well put together boots. They take some getting used to on the bike when your more used to race style boots but once you do they are fine. Did eight hours around Wales by the time I got home they were broken in. Go a size up if you want to use thicker socks. Only been in light rain so far but I think they'll be good no matter what you put them through. Service from sportsbikeshop excellent as always
So far so good
Seems great quality and Sportsbikeshop is my go to place to buy. They fit great allow yourself up at least one euro size and you'll have room in winter for extra socks. Easy to get on and off and very sturdy. Yes it's harder to select gears at first but you get used to the change soon enough it's all about the extra protection and you cannot put a price in safety.
Great value boot
Very comfortable and cosy, found normal shoe size plus 1 to be best and ordered both sizes to try. Returning unwanted size was a breeze and refund made in days. Boots are well made and and offer loads of protection with no obvious loss of feel while braking or changing gears. RST really are a high quality and good design company selling at biker prices.
I like these boots, they are made well, good and sturdy and I really like the design, style and clip fasteners... but they do come with a couple of tiny gripes... Firstly, the clip fasteners on the side grip a bit tightly, so it is a bit of a fiddle to get bike jeans/leathers in comfortably. Second one is that the sole is very thick, now I know these are an adventure boot, so maybe I should have expected this, but I ride a 2018 Honda CB1000R and it is a tight gap between the top of the boot and the gear shifter, so changing gear takes a bit of thought. Otherwise, I think the fit is very comfortable, I am a size 9 (43) on a very slightly wider foot size and I am very pleased with them once on.
