Customer Product Reviews
Best boots I've owned
I bought these boots recently after reading the reviews on the Sportsbikeshop website. I got them out of the box and literally put them on for a 5 hour / 260 mile ride and they were brilliant. Comfortable, supportive and kept my feet cool in the recent hot weather. I have since ridden the 260 mile return journey, a 3 day tour of Ireland and also another long ride to Bristol from West Wales and the boots just keep getting better. More comfortable as they wear in and waterproof when caught in a heavy downpour. They were a little squeaky off the bike when walking around but didn't bother me in the slightest as they are perfect on the bike. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. And fantastic service from Sportsbikeshop to boot.... if you'll excuse the pun....
Time will tell
Fantastic, quality boot that looks like it will last the distance. Never had Gore-Tex before so hope its worth the extra cost. Took size from old boot and new fit is perfect. If there is one thing that is a minor issue - the boot opening; I really liked my former boot wider pre-close that allowed ease of fit what ever sock/trouser combination was being worn. Waiting for proper rain test but previous reviews should be a reassurance that all will be well.
Great quality sports touring boot
Having short Alpinestar boots that are only waterproof when they want to be, I bought these boots. The Sidi B2 are excellent quality, built from thick leather (that takes a little while to break in). The Velcro is a very strong fastening which keeps the boots snug on my feet while still being comfortable. Wearing the boots, it took quite a while to get used to using the rear brake and changing gear due to the lack of feel compared to my other boots. However, once I got used to them, the Sidi B2 were perfect and remained waterproof. Fully recommend these boots for the price.
With these boots being Sidi they are excellent quality and everything I would expect them to be. The size is a bit snug so you may want to go half a size up but it's nothing to worry about. Excellent service and fast delivery from Sportsbikeshop as always.
Good quality boots that are waterproof
After wearing my Gortex Alpinestars boots to death I searched for a replacement. I considered TCX, Dianese and Sidi all with Goretex. Although my old boots had served their purpose for over 6 years of commuting they were never quite water proof. The Velcro started failing after thee first 3 years and even though comfortable they did not feel secure. I tried on the Dianese but the protection felt lacking as thee boot did not cover the shin enough. The TCX were a bit cheaper but replacement parts are expensive. I finally settled on the Sidi B2 Goretex as that were the right mix of comfort and protection. A few mates have had Sidi boots that have lasted longer than any of my previous brands. They are comfortable out box but do required some breaking in. Fit is good, I would suggest to go up one euro size from usual just so you can fit a bigger sock for winter. They fit snug enough even when one size up from usual shoes. The boots feel well protected with lots of armour. The sliders are replaceable and Sidi even sell spare soles so they potentially could last a lifetime. They are waterproof out of the box and 4 hours of a trip in rain can confirm that, plus the Goretex lets your feet breath. Only time will tell if they remain waterproof as with most products water ingress happens after a period of time. Saying that the zips are well protected, a waterproof cover then an over cover design looks like it will minimise the chances of leaking. The quality of the stitching can be seen in double stitching and triple stitching in the harder wearing areas. This is an excellent sign of quality. Last of all they are as comfortable as slippers to wear on and off the bike. Even though carrying a lot of protection the boots feel light for exploring when walking around at a destination. After being through many boots over the years and always avoiding Sidi due to their price I now see why other bikers rave about them. I should have bought them years ago!
These boots are very comfy and a great fit. I usually wear a size 10, but decided to take advice from previous reviews and went 'one size up' so the size 11 is a perfect fit. There is an unusual 'squeak' when walking wearing the boots, but I'm sure this will go away after a few weeks or so. I have worn these boots with my leathers tucked inside and also with motorbike jeans on the outside of the boot, so they are good whatever you decide to wear with them. The quality of the boot is fantastic, real leather and great protection all round. So glad I bought these boots.
Great quality boots / great service
I had been deliberating over these or an alternative brand. Why didn't I purchase these the first time?! I ordered a different brand boots which didn't work out too well. SBS first exchanged the faulty pair, and then refunded their replacement once I decided against them. No questions. Brilliant. I then ordered these Sidi B2's, and got 43 after reading the reviews about sizing. For me they were too small, so exchanged them for my normal 42 (thanks again SBS). These fit me perfectly. I have only worn them once so far, and that was at the weekend on the Bikesafe course. Super comfy out of the box (so similar to my well worn Sidi Vertigo). The journey home was monsoon like, and my feet stayed perfectly dry. They were warm (unlike my Vertigo's) and are very well made. The decision to go with these was made sweeter by the SBS free gift of
First time will find them difficult to put on, but you've got to walk around with them on for little while until you're used to them. After that they fit perfectly. I had been wearing and riding through a heavily rain once and they kept my feet dry throughout the day. No leaks at all. Overall they are great.
As with everything else I've bought from Sportsbikeshop recently, well priced and delivered in no time at all. The boots are excellent, fit well and very comfortable. Not worn them in the wet yet, but I have no doubt they will be waterproof as expected being Gortex.
