Oxford Supa-Wonderbar Tie Down Straps
Customer Product Reviews

Secure Dirtbike
I bought the Oxford super wonder bar to tie down my Enduro bike in the back of the van. When it turned up I was dubious as I have bark busters on the intended bike which you would not be able to slip the red loops over the bar ends because they are closed. I simply cable tied them to the bars and it was rock solid, so very happy even if I didn't use it as intended. Checked both bikes it the rear of the van after 5 minutes driving both hadn't moved and couldn't be moved 200 miles later on arrival it was all perfect. So if it works for a dirk bike that it doesn't even fit I'm sure it would be fine for all road bikes as well. Build quality was good, performance it did what I hoped it would do. I would have like to see an extra strap included to place across the rear of the bike over the seat, but for £25 maybe asking a bit to much. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.
Do the job
These Oxford products are usually good quality and these are no exception. I would have preferred ratchet type adjusters rather than the pull through friction lock type but they've remained secure on each journey of 200 miles each way. Would recommend
Sadly disappointed
Having previously used Erde trailer straps and needing a new pair available for next day delivery I opted for these. Personally I would never use again. The locking mechanism doesn't instill confidence and does allow slight slippage (not ideal for a motorbike on a trailer!!) Also as this isn't a ratchet type fastening (like the Erde) you're unable to compress the forks to prevent natural sway as the trailer hits bumps, turns etc. I had to stop 4 times on a journey from Lincoln to Nottingham to readjust the fastenings. That said the materials are of good quality and it's clear it's produced to a high standard. It's just the design that I have little faith in and would love Erde to produce an item with their design, using Oxfords build quality.
