Mohawk Ladies Cordura Evo Textile Jacket - Neon Yellow
Customer Product Reviews
I have always had problems buying ladies jackets, they never, EVER fit properly and despite taking a chance on this, I'd assumed I'd be returning it for a men's jacket. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived - it looked quite small out of the packet and I was rather worried it still wouldn't fit, but I needn't of worried, it was perfect. I can't get over how great this jacket is, it's adjustable on the upper arms and waist via elastics, so you get a perfect fit. It's even easy to adjust these with gloves on as its a Velcro closure. One of the most amazing things about this jacket, that I've never seen on another is that it has zips on the hips!!! This is such a good idea, especially for anyone who is more blessed in the hip area than the waist and needs to let the jacket out a little and would find the next size up too big everywhere else. The armour sits very well in the jacket and you don't really notice its there. The closure on the front of the jacket it is via popper and Velcro - the poppers have a gap under them so you can get them done up even with gloves on. The back of the jacket has a hood pocket - you'll find a balaclava / hood for wearing under your helmet. This is the first time I've seen something like this and it's definitely a time / space saver. Colour-wise it's exactly like the picture, maybe even a bit brighter fluro in person. The jacket has two air vents to the front and one along the back - these work quite well and you can have the neck undone and hooked down as well. (Using the hook on the jacket to hold it stops it flapping about!). There are quite a few pockets on this - one inner and two large outer. The large is big enough to fit an iPhone 6s length ways and I had no problem storing my keys, purse and phone in it. The first time I wore this jacket I rode to Bruges and back in a day. The whole day it was absolutely perfect and comfortable to wear. I didn't notice it digging in or rubbing anywhere. It kept me warm enough with a light jumper underneath in the freezing morning (I'd taken the thermal lining out as I knew it'd be hotter later - the lining was very easy to take out) and cool enough with the vents and being able to have the collar open at the end of the day when it was much, much hotter. I thankfully didn't get to test out the waterproofing. The only small downside I can see is that the zip for joining to the trousers is very short - I'm used to seeing a zip that goes most of the way round. This jacket is comfortable, a great fit and excellent value. I'd really recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to buy another or anything else from the Mohawk range.
