RST Stunt Pro WP Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Quite sturdy and comfortable
Atfirst I didn't have much faith the glue on the sole would hold but for the past half year I've had it it's been fine. I've taken them pretty much everywhere, around the city, off road on the trails, long touring trips to Transalpina etc. and they still hold on well. Actually the more scuffs and scratches you put on them the better they look. Quite comfortable to walk in, although I wouldn't walk in them more than several hundred meters. Very comfortable when riding.
My Second Pair
Having worn out my previous pair I didn't hesitate in looking for a replacement pair. I liked the 50/50 balance of on-bike protection and off-bike leisurewear of the previous boot although I'd say that the redesigned boot is more 70/30 protection/leisure which isn't a problem. It's stiffer and stronger all round whilst still comfortable off-bike although more biker-boot in appearance than the previous boot. The loop-over strap is an improvement over the previous boot which is necessary to tie-off the still ridiculously long laces.
Poor quality insoles
Bought these boots as it was the only option in size 13 available at the time. Insoles in these are of spectacularly poor quality: they consist of 3 layers and the top layer was glued very badly and came off after 3 days of usage. It also revealed torn gaps in the middle layer. Insoles also move around in the boot and end up crammed at the back of your boot with no insole underneath your toes. Laces are also way too long. Leather itself and protection are ok but ventilation is not great, felt pretty hot in summer. Overall, I would expect more from a £90 product.
Budget, no more
I bought those because I needed something short, not too bulky, something I could commute to work and walk around. First impression wasn't all that amazing. Quality make is fair but not excellent. Fit was clunky, heavy, bit like safety workshoes, than slick urban style short boots you may get from eg. Alpinestar. After about a week of having them for 9 hours a day, finally broke in, yet still, let's say I got comfier boots in my drawer. On top of that, after a week one of the handels (placed in a back, used to ease pulling the boots on), just broke. To be fair I should have paid 30 pounds more and get something better.
Stylish and Functional
Moved to a hot place, wanted a boot that was lighter, and made for riding. SBS had a good selection. Price and style of this boot appealed to me. Have already had a chance to use them. They are just what I wanted, and they look good. The delivery, as always, was swift.
This is the first pair of shoes/boots that I've ever bought online. As ever, I'm delighted with the way the order was handled by Sportsbikeshop. The boots are excellent and fit perfectly. They seem to be of very high quality and make me feel more secure on the bike. I am happy to unreservedly recommend the boots and the service from Sportsbikeshop.
Protective motorcycle footwear which can be worn most of the time. Perhaps not with a suit. Good quality leather which polishes nicely. The padding on the ankle took a little bit of getting used to on my boney ankles but the more I wear them, the better they get.
Needed a pair of boots that wouldn't look out of place to wear round the office when I brought the bike in to work. I must say they are very comfortable and apart from the shift selector pad could easily pass as normal boots. Great boots, fit perfectly and delivered without issue, as I have come to expect when dealing with SBS.
