Oxford Tracker Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Very good quality and value touring boots
These are great value and excellent quality boots for the price. I bought half a size bigger and would need a full size if using heavy socks. Have used them in the rain and cold this January and are warm with normal socks and waterproof. A bit stiff to begin with, but a bit of polish and regular wear over the past 10 days and now very comfortable. Good protection as well. I've paid more in the past for lesser boots. Great buy.
Excellent - but 'buy big'
Echoing many earlier comments, I'm normally in the 10/11 boot size. 13 was what I ended up with so suggestions to go up 2 sizes seem sensible. Otherwise nicely made, E-marked, a bit tight to start with but breaking in nicely. No wet rides yet though. Recommended.
Size matters for this waterproof boot
I checked before buying this as I am a size 4 which is EU 37 but was listed as 38, confused. I was advised by SBS to try the 38 first, good advice as the ankle is a tight fit and wouldn't get in a 37. Quickly tested how waterproof they are due to the flooding in Hereford this week, I can confirm I had dry feet all week, an excellent boot and a good price. Top service from SBS as usual.
Oxford Tracker - Waterproof Boot
High Quality these boots have proven themselves within days. Sturdy with a high zip to top of boot the feel supportive and after a single ride I feel comfortable with both brake and gear lever contact. For an excellent price they are punching way above where you would expect.
My First Time!
I haven't had an Oxford Boot before - having no kids meant I had money to spend an ARAI! These haven't disappointed though I echo what others say about the ankle as they need to be broken in - I had to get the wife to pull my boots off the first time! I've put some RENAPUR on mine to nourish the leather even more and this has worked a treat. Really enjoy these boots now and they are as good as any other that I have previously had - including the ALPINESTARS that I have just retired.
Bought these boots after watching an review by TMF. Spot on product that are keeping me dry and warm so far. I wear size 10 shoes, ordered size 10 boots and the fit is fine. They are firm to start, but are breaking in nicely. Top notch service from Sportsbikeshop and the delivery company.
Comfy and affordable
Needed a pair of boots for a trip to Italy, and decided to go for this Oxford, after reading the reviews. After a couple of miss-delivery from DPD, got them, put them on, walked a bit in the house and decide to keep them. Never wore motorbike boots before, but this felt soft enough from the start, and comfortable to walk in. Luckily haven't tried it in the rain yet, but they look like they should be waterproof... will see. As others said, great service from SBS and the guys in customer service, tracking down my boots, when DPD failed me twice. Cheers.
These boots have not been in a real "English downpour" but are very good in all other respect. As a 10 they are very well fitting but if you will be putting 2 (or more) sets of socks on they are tight, Hoping for a less tight feel as the leather wears-in.
High quality, low price boot
I read the reviews before buying these boots and they were very accurate. I think the quality is excellent and the price surprisingly low. The fit is excellent but I strongly recommend going a size higher than your normal and they are very stiff to begin with but once broken in are very comfortable. I expect them to last a long time even with daily use.
