Knox Covert Leather Glove MkII - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Very well constructed and comfortable, but most importantly very safe gloves and the hard palm sliders are a must-have for me when riding. I went on the smaller size ordering and they were a bit too tight at first but after a couple of weeks they fit "like a glove". Have yet to test them in the rain.
Best quality gloves
Ergonomics of the glove is incomparable with other brands, fingers long enough, palm and sliders in adequate position, top hand armor is not causing any discomfort. In my case I consider lack of touch screen fingers as good feature but could be a problem for some. On wet stay dry, question for how long, but for me glass is half full, then I'll stay optimistic. One significant minus is that this particular glove does not comes with EC certification, however is safer than many with the cert..... I think.
On the larger side
Ive tested them in the rain and whilst I don't fell like my hands got wet they did get heavy and cold but that might be due to them being leather. Plus for me I would go down a size as I'm a S and these feel a tad to big but still really good gloves. But also give time to break in as at first the amour rubbed but now I don't even think about it.
After a few hours ride to break in they have been perfect gloves. They kept my hands dry in a 6 hour downpour, they aren't too hot in warm weather and they are great quality over all. They are my go to everyday glove. I've already covered 1600miles in them and I can't fault them. I had to return the first pair and go down a size to that recommended on here.
Great gloves so I bought my dad a pair for Christmas. I wear these to work 5 days a week in rain or sunshine and they still look new after a year. Very well made, sturdy and flexible. The inner lining is stitched in so has never pulled out when trying to get a wet hand out or in. Downsides are they let in heavy heavy rain after a while but by then most of you is wet anyway! When the temperature gets down to low single digits the gloves stop keeping your hands warm. Overall, when they finally break I will be getting another pair so highly recommended!
A superb three-season glove
My intent when purchasing these gloves was to use them only when I was expecting rain given they are waterproof. What I was not expecting was how well they fitted and how breathable they are allowing me to wear them more or less all the time which is what I now do. They are probably not the ultimate in safety to the extent that I would not wear them on a dry track day however on the road, I really cannot fault them. The leather is extremely flexible and they are well made - highly recommended!
