RST Blade 2 CE Leather Gloves - Black
Customer Product Reviews
I've had these gloves for about a month now, so they have had use in most UK winter / spring weather from below zero to nearly 20 degrees C. As my bike is my only form of transport, I ride all year round and need comfortable gloves which feel like they would protect my hands if the need arose. I'm very happy with the fit and the quality of manufacture. Lever and switch gear feel through the gloves is pretty good. They only needed minimal breaking in and they fit snugly over the cuffs of my textile jacket. There is enough adjustment that I am sure they would fit inside the cuffs if I wanted them to. For the price, I think they would be very hard to beat if you want leather gloves.
RST Blade 2 Gloves
I bought these to replace a pair of RST racing gloves that were about 12 years old, I was very impressed with my old ones having outlasted friends Alpinestars gloves. The Blade 2 look to be very well made, and at a very keen price even before Sportsbike shop's sale prices. I ordered a size XL and they fit perfectly, (I'am 6ft and take a shoe size 11, to give a rough idea of sizings). I have bought several RST bits of kit recently, and I have been very impressed with all of it. Definitely recommended.
Perfect match RST Blade jacket
Fit perfect, no breaking in period. Good protection, excellent value, perfect match for my jacket, wish I would have purchased these before I purchased the Knox Handroid gloves. Nothing against the Knox gloves, they are a premium glove at a premium price but my fingers are chunky and I couldn't get on with them. I am very satisfied with the RST gloves and for the price are excellent.
Honestly can't fault these gloves or company. Price matched as found a few pounds cheaper which I was happy about and the gloves them self feel very comfortable and warm plus don't need breaking in like some gloves do. Would recommend to anyone.
I am very happy with Sportsbikeshop for selling these at such a bargain price. I did consider other more expensive gloves they sell, but luckily I decided to give these a try, I'm glad I did. I have been riding for over 40 years and this is the best pair of gloves I've ever bought. They look and feel really good. The straps are adjustable so they fit over the sleeves of my light jacket and over my heavier jacket. They are very comfortable to wear when riding and the fingers curve naturally over my handlebar grips. As they are new, they are a bit of a tug to get on, but I think that is a good 'feature' as I don't want my gloves flying off if I hit the tarmac. Skin is hard to replace! I should also mention they are nice and warm in this freezing weather and don't seem to let the rain in. They are just perfect.
