RST Tundra CE Leather Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Brought for winter riding but used a couple of times already, got caught in a light shower on a dual carriageway with a lot spray and feet remained warm and dry. Seem very supple and don't need to be worn in as such. Wider fit than my RST race boots, so accommodation of thicker socks will be good. Can't go wrong at this price point. Usual great service from SBS.
Comfortable protective boots
I bought these shoes in a size 10 and they fit perfectly. Not only have I spent a whole day in these but not once did my feet hurt. They are excellent touring boots and very comfortable to walk in. The quality of the leather is amazing, it's a thick leather.
Comfortable straight out of the box.
I have wide feet with a high instep and usually have difficulty finding a comfortable fit, so don't normally buy boots online as I would normally need to try on a few pairs But because of the current situation with COVID-19, I decided to try online and was very pleased to find these boots comfy straight from the box, they are well made and good quality at an affordable price from a reputable manufacturer. You will not be disappointed, Experience has shown as with all motorcycle boots you will probably need to go at least a size bigger than your normal size, and the service from Sportsbikeshop was excellent. They were recommended to me buy a fellow biker.
Great value for money, same as Alpinestars double
Great quality for the price. They take a bit of walking in because they're very stiff and a bit harder to move your ankle and change gear but that's fine. Also I'm always a eu46 in bike boots so I got that but I need to wear 2 thin pairs of socks with these. But I think if I got 45 they would be too tight. Still, they were £75 and I've had my Aplinestars Web gore tex (£160) for the past 7 years or so and I don't know where the extra £85 has gone, quality feels the same. Maybe in extended downpours they might let some water in, but so did my Alpinestars.
Rookie Tootie! Black leather bootie!
I am on a budget (complete tight arse) and these boots seemed to meet my requirements for the price. Not had to ride in a downpour yet, so can't really comment on their waterproof qualities hence a rating of 4. Overall a comfortable basic looking boot and my feet have not overheated while riding on hot days. I did find them really tight around the calves the first couple of times I wore them and was worried I might break the zips but they have since eased up and fit nicely. No complaints and I would recommend them on the strength of my experience so far.
Ordered one size up from my usual and they fit great. They are warm and comfortable. Not been in the wet yet so can't comment on that. One very minor thing... it took a little while to adjust to the thicker soles compared with my Sidi boots, a few missed gear changes, but quickly adapted and it's no issue now.
rst tundra boots
boots arrived in good time excelent service from sbs as usual .first off I went a size up from 9 to a 10 as a lot of reviews said this was a good idea and they were right. boots were still a little snug but that's the case with leather had room round big toe so nothing was rubbing I'm sure it will soften up with use ,zip is made of plastic and a little stiff but again I think it just needs some use, boots were comfy from the start and warm I may have to adjust the gear selector as the added reinforcing on the toe means I have to bend my foot a lot more to select the gears ,but this may just soften up with a bit of use so will give it a week or so to bed in ,not tested for waterpoof yet as only used for 70 dry miles . but nothing hurt or was rubbing during the trip. other info boots fit under jeans I noticed they don,t have a very pronounced heel so if you are used to hooking your heel on the footrest you may have to adjust your style a little till you get used to it all in all happy with my purchase
Excellent quality boot, good fit, comfortable to wear. HOWEVER they are about 2cm thicker from sole to top of boot than the previous two pairs of boots I have had which makes changing up very difficult without altering the position of the gear lever, since they do not easily go under the lever to change gear. I cannot vouch for their waterproofness as it has been warm and sunny since I got them!
The first pair of boots that I've ever tried on and found instantly comfy. Me, normally being a large sized 12, often find getting the right boot is difficult. Ordered these, 1 size up as normal, and they are great. Soft lining, warm & easy to walk in as well. Not tried them in the rain yet though, so can't give them a waterproof rating, but I can't see any reason why they won't be just fine.
