Oxford Montreal 2.0 Textile Jeans - Tech Black
Customer Product Reviews
Warm and Comfortable
First pair of motorcycle trousers. Happy with comfort and waterproofing. Braces and lining are removable. They have been warm enough to use without the lining down to 5c. The trousers tend to ride above my boot height - selecting a longer leg than normal may help keep them over the boots.
Quality at a great price
I added the Montreal 2.0 jeans to my kit after purchasing the jacket, both products are very well made with good attention to detail in their design. I have used them in wet weather and no signs of the water getting through the textile. All in all a bargain from Sportsbikeshop.
Lovely and cosy!
Lovely warm cosy trousers that are at a bargain price. A couple of negatives: The sizing is unnecessarily complicated. What size is 2xl? Fortunately another reviewer was 38 inch waist so I found that helpful. Secondly there is a hole in the lining of the right pocket but I won't do anything about it apart from keeping change on the left side
Brought them to replace some old unbranded textile trousers. Very comfortable and the knee armor sits perfectly. Been great. Was skeptical about it being waterproof but after being. annihilated by rain on the A50 & A42. The removable thermal liner also keeps you very toasty.
Great trousers, great price.
Bought these to go with Oslo jacket and they are just as comfy the jacket and warm. I am a 32 waist 29 leg, so ordered 32 short, leg length is perfect although waist is a little lose, is not elasticated and belt is a bit cumbersome. Not tried in heavy rain yet. Great price again SportsBikeShop.
I am well impressed with both the quality and fit of these pants! The fit and comfort is spot on (not the usual pair of sails), they look and feel good. I haven't worn them in rain yet but they were brilliant on a recent 80 mile ride in 2c temperatures. Cheers Sportsbikeshop.
Comfortable trousers, but tight thighs
I use these for my daily commute, over my work trousers, and they are very comfortable. So far they are waterproof, and the removable braces are good as the connection zip isn't compatible with my current jacket. The liner is thick enough to be effective, although with it in, the thighs are quite tight and slightly restrict my movement. They are fine with the liner out though. There seems like a lot of protection, especially on the seat where there is a double layer of material, and there are air vents on the thighs that can be held open with poppers. The storm flaps on the lowers for over boots can be a bit fiddly at first, but once on they are fully waterproof and comfortable to wear on and off of the bike.
Practical and simple design
These are great value pair of waterproof adventure style trousers. They are waterproof in rain and have a basic ventilation system which is ok. Best part, massive front pockets which are water proof, so handy and an oversight with other brands when creating adventure trousers. Protection is the certified basic but is reasonably soft and flexible but I have upgraded these with rst knee and hip protection available on sportbikeshop. Belt is very handy and allows for ease of wearing over normal trousers when going to work. The thermal liner is ok, it's quite thin and only covers 3/4 of the leg which I haven't seen before. Fabric is strong and resilient. Flared bottoms allow easy access for boots. Overall very good specifications for the price. Sportbikeshop deliver so quickly and package well, these guys just dominate the motorcycle retail sector in the UK. Super
Excellent jeans, excellent service!
Fantastic quality pants and great price. A good fit with warmth and protection were you need it. Glad I can remove the braces and lining. Not tested in heavy rain (or any rain yet as it's been dry for a while. I originally ordered the Oxford Continental jeans but swapped for these. SBS were fantatic as always, no hassle and perfect service. Thanks!
It seems like a good bit of kit, only used a couple of times so far and not in rain. I like that the knee pads, sit over the knee but yield a little when stood up. The cooling vents may be a good idea, I just wonder if water will get in here? Any way they must be better than my old Hein Gericke, they leaked from day one!
Excellent pants for a reasonable price
Debated for ages about buying these as I usually wear Hood kevlar jeans, but I am so glad I took the plunge and bought these as they are high quality for a fairly reasonable price. Only worn once on the bike in the rain and so far they are excellent, warm and waterproof. They zip to my Oxford Ankara jacket easily enough. Size wise, I wear 38 waist in office suit trousers and regular high street jeans, I bought the 2xl /40 waist in these and they fit over my high street jeans no problem and that is with the thermal liner still fitted. If your looking at getting these to match an Oxford jacket, just buy them, you wont regret it.
My first pair of riding jeans after just wearing over trousers and I have to say I'm very impressed - kept me warm and dry in cold and torrential rain and the quality is superb! Great value as well and, as always, fast delivery from SBS...very happy customer.
