Alpinestars SP-5 Leather Gloves - Black / White / Red
Customer Product Reviews
Alpinestars Sp-5 Lather gloves, Black/Wite/Red
Wanted a quality summer glove at a good price. I did not want too large knuckle armour but some. These fit the bill, comfortable, cool on hot days, good Velcro closures and tactile for satnav use. Very pleased with these and the look good, true to size chart.
Quality glove at a good price
After reading other reviews I decided to order a size 2XL which is equal to a size 10 glove from the buliders merchant I use at work. Really pleased with the fit and quality of these gloves. You get what you pay for they say, but in this case I feel I've done very well at the price point.
Great fit & feel, perfect for summer
Went for an XL, I'm this size in most other gloves - great fit, nice ventilation for a summer glove. Not waterproof, but seems water resistant - can survive a summer shower no problem. Otherwise feels very well put together, good movement in all fingers. Very happy.
Great summer glove
Superb gloves. Have used them down to 7 degrees, and my hands got cold within about 15 mins so definitely not for cold weather riding! Have used them up to 24 degrees and my hands were not at all sweaty or hot. Very comfortable. First couple of rides my hands got pins and needles after an hour, but have been fine since. Second pair of Alpinestars gloves, they me perfectly, where Rev'it gloves the fingers are too short.
First pair of bike gloves
I'm new to biking and just doing my DAS. I was fed up with my fingers stinking after borrowing the communal riding school ones so thought I'd treat myself. I Really like these gloves. Very comfortable and seem to be very well made and provide good protection. They are warm and a quality bit of kit. I ordered the correct size for me and was a bit concerned they were too tight at first but they loosen up nicely after a couple of rides.
Sturdy summer glove
Pretty robust glove which is slightly thicker than I anticipated but that's no bad thing. I thought the wrist fastening was good to use even though some reviews I'd read seemed not to like it. Good value and I continue to default to Alpinestar gloves as they just seem to fit me the best.
