Richa Infinity 2 Textile Jacket - Green
Customer Product Reviews
The Jacket that kept giving
Excellent product. I am new to riding so spent quite a lot of time researching the right jacket for my use (not normal for me). The jacket meets all that I need and is going to be great as we move into the colder autumn months, lots of options to add and subtract layers.I am really impressed with the quality of the inner layers, on other jackets this seemed to be missed. Care has been taken with the way the product has been made with real attention to detail. I was also very continuous of safety requirements, this jacket exceeds all of these. Its a perfect fit, really comfortable and looks good. The jacket turned up exactly when advised, was well packaged and very good value for money.
Quality jacket from Richa
Always been a fan of Richa and bought the Flare instead of couple of rival brands. Although more expensive, the fit was just right plus a lot lighter than alternatives. I wanted a jacket with good venting options and this is just right. The lower arm two way vent zips are great as they allow air flow to go up the arms. I wouldn't say this is a mid winter jacket as the liner is quite thin however you may be able to add a layer underneath, depending upon size.
Excellent jacket, well made, sizing spot on, fits really well. Cannot comment on the wet weather performance, not been caught in a storm yet!! But the venting works well, I especially like the long vents in the fore arms allowing cooling air to flow all around the jacket stopping arms from getting hot and sweaty as the do in many others. All in all a very good jacket, would definitely recommend.
Only been out a few times in this jacket. I'm a large, fits perfectly, lots of storage space. Its summer so not been out in the proper cold. The vents work really well been out on a couple of hot days. And it looks very smart and feel very good quality
Stylish and lightweight
Bought while in lockdown and now restrictions have eased slightly I've been able to try it out - as temperatures were in the 20's I've removed the liner - venting zips have excellent flow and never felt too hot. Only slight negative is that the front pockets aren't too deep but that's a minor point - I would recommend jacket though.
After having a RST jacket for years which has been great I decided to upgrade. This jacket is very good, not too many features but enough pockets for what you need. I like that you can remove various layers which allows you to Taylor the jacket to UK weather conditions. The addition of a back protector is good, also knowing the armour is D30 unlike some cheap plastic stuff is reassuring. I would recommend trying before if possible, mine is a size L and I find the arms quite tight, not sure if its the outer jacket or the internal layers which cause this. Sportsbikeshop allows free returns which made the purchase easy allowing me to return one after ordering two so I could try different sizes at home. Overall a good jacket and great service from Sportsbikeshop.
After 10 good years I reluctantly had to part ways with my Heine Gerricke Goretex. I don't have the big money to be spending on top end goretex this time round, so I did a lot of shopping and trying 'lower mid range' priced jackets. Nothing else seemed to come close. I tried Oxford, as a budget option but it didn't fit how I wanted and I didn't have the confidence it would be as warm as my HG, I then tried the Alpinestars Andes 2 and again I just didn't put it on and love it. Then I found this in my local bike shop and liked the look but the price felt a bit steep...so I came back to sports bike shop and the price point was way better. I ordered a Large and an XL as I always seem to be a bit between sizes and maybe just an awkward size. The large would have been good for only a t shirt but the XL gave me the room for some good winter layers to deal with the Welsh winters. But when all the liners are zipped out, and the jacket adjusted, it still feels a good summer fit. The quality feels really good, zips all good. Adjustment good. Look good. Armour acceptable, although I may buy a bigger back protector. However the supplied one is still really good and not just a flimsy bit of board, the zip out waterproof liner fits well and feels good, with a good quality removable thermal liner inside that. Most importantly I put the jacket on and it just felt right. I am a year round rider and like one jacket I can use all year, this always involves a compromise at each end of the extreme heat/cold spectrum but I think this jacket will hole up well. I have tested in this mornings icy weather and it felt warm, wind-proof and no flapping about, not tested the waterproofness yet but i am feeling confident in that. Very happy I hung out from rushing into a purchase, this ticks all the right boxes and has put a smile on my face. Wish I had brought one sooner instead of just putting up with the old faithful.
AMAZING SERVICE... GOOD JACKET
Good features. Arms are long, but cuffs are narrow. Felt far too big in the middle, but enough adjustment to deal with that. Did not feel as warm as my previous Richa... but room for layers. Looks good after only 200 miles.
What an amazing jacket, I've worn the jacket in temperatures as low as 4 degrees, with just a T-shirt underneath, kept me very warm, it's withstood rain whilst on the motorway and with all the different linings taken out and the vents open great for the hot days on the road The colours and look finish the jacket off really well, very pleased with my purchase. Only thing I'd change is the front pockets.
