Schuberth C3 Pro - Gravity Blue
Customer Product Reviews
After months of checking out lids, reviews and trying on, I finally went for the C3pro. An older model I know, but what a great helmet, build quaily and fit works 'for me'. Better that the price was really good, (sportsbikeshop discount code) and from ordering (Sunday afternoon) to delivery was less than 18 hours! Thanks
Really good helmet
I ride all year round and have always struggled with visors fogging up. This helmet has no issues with this. Really good airflow and comfortable. The chin strap takes a bit of getting used to and needs to soften up and does after a few weeks.
Schuberth C3 Pro
Having had a big crash in 2016 when a 4x4 pulled out in front of me, I was wearing a Schuberth C3 Pro at the time of the crash. Although a broken neck later, I have no doubt this helmet not only saved me but also limited the injuries sustained. Now I'm back up and running on my M/C this was the only helmet for me. Comfortable, lightweight and very quiet. Can't praise the Schuberth C3 Pro enough
As a winter rider this helmet affords clear visibility due to the Pinlock insert and ventilation system. The lifting face is easy to use with gloves on, both opening and closing. The build quality seems very good. The 'skirt' at the bottom does a good job of keeping the wind out and warmth in. One minor criticism is that this gets wet when it rains, and because it's material, takes time to dry out.
No doubt a very quiet helmet even at high speeds on the motorway. And with ear plugs in you don't hear any wind noise. I've had a chance to use it now for about 400 miles in a mix of weather and the pinlock prevents any fogging up even on cold wet mornings. Ventilation seems adequate but will have to wait till the summer to test it properly. Will definitely recommend.
Best Helmet I've owned
Bought my Schuberth C3 pro in the last month and have been out for a few rides and absolutely love it. It is extremely light, quiet and such a joy to wear compared to previous helmets Ive owned. Fantastic, as you would expect from German build quality plus a 5yr warranty just for registering. Would highly recommend and as always superb service from Sportsbikeshop.
Back to black.
I don't buy helmets for their snazzy colours,I buy a helmet for the features a manufacturer builds into them.with the schuberth you get a premium helmet that is the quietest I have ever had.you get a plush comfortable interior with effective ventilation when needed, good visibility with the usefulness of a flip lid,and at sports bike shop,a good price too.
I chose this helmet for long commutes due to the low noise levels. This aspect has been spot on. My only complaints are that the visor tends to fog and the fit can be a little uncomfortable due to the lack of padding (forehead and back of head). Integrated sunvisor and flip up chin bar work well.
Great helmet and great service!
This is my first Schubert and I'm impressed. It's much more quiet than my previous HJC RPHA 70 but then I guess that's more race orientated. I bought it because of the reputation for low noise and it doesn't disappoint. It fits well and feels both plush and comfortable when wearing it. Love the drop down visor too. It seems very well put together. It can be a bit painful on my ears when taking it off, I think this is down to the fact that it's quite snug below the ears to keep wind noise down and I'm willing to just deal with that in an attempt not to make my already ringing ears ring any louder. All in all very happy and as usual had a great experience with Sportsbikeshop.
World's quietest helmet??
Don't get me Wrong, this is a very good helmet. It is obvious that the helmet is quality and well made. It is snug and yet comfortable to wear. The visors are very clear compaired to my last helmet and all of the controls including the flip up chin bar operate very smoothly. I was however expecting it to be extremely quiet but, found that although quieter than my other helmet is is not by any means silent. Maybe I was expecting too much or maybe I am more sensitive than most to the wind passing over the helmet. I have now put a speaker head set in the shell and expect this will eleviate the noise or at least some music to distract me. Would I recommend the helmet? Absolutely Yes! I chose silver as it was cheaper than other colours for some reason. And, I cannot recommend Sportsbikeshop highly enough for service and pricing. Excellent to deal with.
One of the best helmets
This is my second C3. Till I did not have the C3 I was not satisfied with any other helmet. That is why I bought it again, without to try anything else. It is superb in every performance and utility. Everything on it is well and practical done.
I've been using Schubert helmets since the c1 came out and do lots of touring etc mileage . This is my second c3 pro . The first will be used for local wear as it's got about a year left . Excellent sounds quality, you do get a booming noise ,but that's what good sound protection does ,being ex service and using amplivox ear protection I know . Some people complain still about noise but that's because their bikes have loud exhaust. Get an extra size up from normal fit and like a good pair of shoes that will be comfortable, done over 500 miles in a day on some trips . Highly recommended (biker of 50 years )
It's a Schuberth
I previously had a Schuberth S1, but when it came time to replace it, I didn't have the cash to replace it with another Schuberth. Now I am back in the fold. I have my tinted drop-down visor (oh, how I missed that) and a helmet that fits my shape of head. Oh, and it's far quieter than the non-Schubert helmets I have had. This is my first foray into flip up territory, but it won't be my last. I don't know why I stayed away so long. The positive click as the flip latches into place is reassuring. As to be expected from Schuberth, the quality is excellent. My only complaint is I would like more colour combinations in my size (M). Every time I saw one I liked, it wasn't available in my size. Still, we can't have everything, can we?
