Dojo Kiso Jacket - Black / Gunmetal
Customer Product Reviews
Great jacket for the price, got mine for £99 pound using a 10 % voucher code. Also came with free thermal lined trousers. Quality is good for the money although no back protector is provided it has a mesh pocket for one, so I fitted a g30 one for £30. One word of warning is regarding sizing, the large size is up to 44 inch chest not 42. I ordered large originally but medium was a much better fit for me wearing a shirt and jumper under it ( I'm a 42 inch chest). Have ridden in the jacket for 300 miles with ambient temperature of around 8 degrees and have stayed warm and dry up to now.
Overall seems pretty good but haven't tested it on a bike ride yet. Couple of things I've noticed is that the main front zip seems to be stuck and is really hard to zip up and down and the other is the internal lining seems to have ripped but can't complain came with free trousers.
Good fit, wind proof, warm. Been out riding at temp of around 2-3 degrees for couple of hours and was toasty warm. Really happy with performance . No experience re waterproofness yet. Only reason for not giving a 5 is that the fabric tag holding the sleeve of the thermal liner in place came away the first time I took the jacket off. This is not an issue that wouldn't warrant me returning the jacket.
Value for money but not perfect
Used it in awfully cold wet weather and held up a dream. The quality of its usability is there but there are minor issues like the logo on the breast area is stitched upside down and the rear zip came already flared so doesn't work properly
This jacket is so warm, putting it on in the house gets me a little flustered. I don't feel the cold at all and it's super waterproof too. It even has a little flap around the neck, so I barely feel the wind or cold without the need for a snood. Would highly recommend.
Not quite water proof
I have worn this jacket today in light rain, the bottom half of the sleeves let water in so my arms were wet when I got to work. It took a long while for the jacket to dry out and left a pool of water on the floor where I hung it up to dry. Plus the top fastening is very high so I leave it undone otherwise it feels like I'm being choked! I will have to resort to wearing my old waterproof jacket over this one.
Bargain of the century
Excellent jacket - comfortable, very warm, loads of pockets & decent armour for the price. Tested it in October light rain at some speed and stayed perfectly dry, which is more than I can say about some of my more expensive gear. At this price with the free trousers (also pretty good) it's an absolute steal at this time of year.
Warm and Dry but time will tell
For the price this jacket is, so far, an excellent buy. Only had a few weeks but ridden in constant downpours for at least 2 hrs. Arrived thinking I was damp, but when taking jacket off I was bone dry. Maybe it was sweat as even in the UK winter I was really toasty. A great buy when looking at first adventure kit and the free jeans were equally as good at keeping me dry and warm but the zip on my free pair only goes halfway up but hey for free can't complain! Defo work a look!
My last fabric jacket was disappointing in the rain. I had read good things about ARMR so thought I'd give this a go. In the few weeks I've owned it, it seems to have rained every day but I have remained warm and dry on my commute. It's comfortable, feels like it will last and looks OK. Highly recommended.
Brilliant value - what's not to like
Bought as replacement for old ARMR Moto Kiso jacket which lasted about 50,000 miles commuting. Is the same jacket under a different name. So knew it would be comfy from the start, and waterproof, and this time with a zip to attach to Hara pants which came free. Both for £110 - fabulous value - what not to like?
