Oxford Premium Handguard with Aluminium Lever Guard - Pair
Customer Product Reviews
There's a couple of factors that inform why I've gone for the full five rating, which I'll get to shortly, but depending on the main function you're purchasing these for it could be a three or four. I ride an MT-07 bought these to provide structural support to my Givi handmuffs which are designed for adv/touring bikes and rely on the larger mass of the handguards to hold them in place. My criteria was pretty simple; they had to be good quality and inexpensive - the illusive combination that often sacrifices one to meet the other. Luckily, these are a lot more cost-effective than other offerings on the market and are exceptionally well built, too. Even after the winter has passed I'll keep them on because they fit the black/grey colour scheme of my bike nicely and the added lever protection while filtering is always nice to have. Why would they get rated less, then? If you've bought these to keep the wind chill off your hands then I doubt they'll make any difference. I've previously had larger handguards which didn't provide an effective barrier against the wind chill and these are considerably smaller; just something worth taking into consideration if looking at these. Otherwise these come with high praise from me, a random internet guy.
