Shark Evo-One 2 Keenser - Matt Black / Silver / Red
Customer Product Reviews
Shark evo one two
Really happy with my new Shark helmet, very good ventilation and great sun visor which fits nicely over my glasses! Only criticism would be the chin is a little difficult to replace in the full face position could do with some grooves/ ridges to make it easier to slide back down but overall very impressed and it's much quieter than my Caberg Duke 2 so that's a bonus!
Absolutely Great to be back in a Shark, After a year with a Shoei Neotech this is welcome relief. Feels a lot lighter on longer journeys and my glasses are not a problem either in the flip or down position. Great fit fir ma big heed XL.
Still loving the helmet after a year. Reaction from the store second to none in carrying out a small repair to the visor mechanism. Used my old Schuberth while it was away but so glad to get it back in just a matter of days. Top service throughout.
Comfortable and stylish
This helmet is both comfortable and stylish. I have always had Shoei lids, but this Shark (for me) if far more comfortable than the Shoei I have previously owned. The only downside to this is a bit more wind noise, but nothing a set of earplugs can't fix
Had to replace my Schuberth
It is a really comfortable fit and I really like the mechanism which gives you the chin bar up or down flexibility, Comms fitted in perfectly-not Sharktooth. Made easier by a simple lining removal and installation process. Not cheap, but overall I think it was worth it.
Excellent helmet. Wanted a flip up that the chin bar got out of the way so could ride around town as an open face. SV is superb. Fully open or fully closed the helmet is great. Small gripes would be that it's difficult to lock both sides of the chin bar down while riding and if you ride at all with the visor raised the pinlock is moved by the wind and then doesn't provide a tight seal against the visor.
Good all round helmet in full face or flip mode
As a long term user of a flip front helmet (Caberg) the chin guard moving to the back creates a more streamline look and effect. the Caberg only moves 90 degrees. So is more comfortable when riding at speed. The internal visor drops low enough so that it doesn't detract from the eyeline although the slider to operate it takes some getting use to as you have to reach on top of the lid to move it.I have not rode in the rain as yet so can't offer an opinion on the use of the pin lock, however these type of visors have been around for some time so it should be good. Going back to the chin guard the instructions suggest you only fit the magnetic wind cover in place whilst stationary. This is good advice far too awkward while moving and wearing gloves. When on the move in full face mode there appears to be a slight whistling from the top of the visor which is not too distracting as I always wear plugs but I notice there appears to be a type of airwash passing across the inside of the visor, it might be designed in to help keep the visor clear or due to a small gap at the top making the whistling sound. The possible downside to this could be if you are a winter rider the face could get very cold. I used the measurement guide and ordered a small size, initially I thought too small but once on its very snug especially around the cheek pads, hopefully these should bed in. If you wear glasses they fit well and don't feel as they are being pressed against your head, however you do need place them on/off after the helmet is on.
A Great Fit
The sizing is spot on and the shape and looks are great. The flip front is excellent especially with the chin guard going all the way to the back. Also when the visor is up it sits nicely flush with the helmet and keeps turbulence to a minimum. Everything seems very good quality and the lining is quite plush. The Pinlock insert works well and doesn't catch anywhere. The only minor issue is the speaker recesses are on the small size, but the lining is thick enough to accommodate any slight protrusion of the speakers.
This is a great bit of kit. It looks good, feels good, has a great sharp safety rating. The fact it can be used as both an open Face and closed helmet is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a medium and It's a tighter fit than my other helmets, but this is a good thing. First time I tried it on it was very tight and I thought I might return it but after wearing for an hour or so it's much more comfortable and feels much safer and lighter than my previous helmets. I would highly recommend.
Well done shark
Always have shark helmets and they have now sorted all the previous problems with the Evo range with this one great color better than the online picture, feels quality, quite for a flip lid, and as usual with shark a great fit and comfortable for the long trips
Best Evo yet
This is my 3rd Shark helmet, 2 Evoline (s2, then s3) and now an Evo-One and each one gets better and better The pinlock and fullsized inset is spot on as is the auto visor up when you move the chin bar. The sizing seems a little tighter then the Series3 so if your existing helmet is tight then you might want to try one on to see if you need to go up a size. Haven't fitted the intercom yet so can't comment on that, but I've never had problems with Shark removal lining/padding previously so am not expecting an problems. I ride a Harley with LAF pipes so not really in a position to comment on the wind noise, etc. Got a winning price from Sportsbikeshop and delivery was next day and the delivery packing was really excellent so absolutely no concerns about damage in transit. All in all a fab buy
Having ridden several hundred miles, I confidently feel I can leave an appropriate review of this helmet. I originally purchased a Evoline 3 but without a pinlock and no auto up and down I didn't get on with it so decided to swap for the one-2 sportsbikeshop refunded me without question excellent customer service. I have found that the noise level on this is better than my old Schuberth C2 and the wind buffeting as I ride a naked bike is significantly better. My C2 I couldn't do above 70 without feeling it in my neck after a short while. But this helmet sits pretty at 100 and above before feeling the same level of buffeting. So a daily commute sitting at 70-80 is very comfortable. Highly recommend the helmet and sportsbikeshop.
This was a replacement for an evo one that the pinlock kept falling out of. Only had it a few weeks and it's already been back to SHARK with the same issue. Also I've had to re glue the visor seal back on several times as well. The helmet is a great idea and I love the fact that you can turn it into an open face lid when required. In practice though the build quality is average and it's a wee bit noisy. Let me add this is no reflection on SBS who have been superb as always.
Very good helmet. Shark have done well for a change and have made something functional and practical. The wind noise is very low and I feel no wind buffering at all. Well built and comfortable. My only issue is the opening around the chin that allows more breeze than I would like. However this shouldn't detract from a great lid with litany if great features. The reviews all said that you need two hands to close the flip front, this isn't true. If you press I. The middle of the flip you can lock it into place with practice. Would recommend
Recently ordered a new helmet for my wife. Unfortunately we got our sizing wrong, despite measuring. No problem with Sportsbikeshop Ltd. Quickly arranged a return and exchange for the correct size. Fantastic service, and fast. Buy with confidence with Sportsbikeshop Ltd. The helmet is superb, and now fits brilliantly.
Welcome back to a Shark
My first helmet back in 1993 was a shark, and it was and as always been my favourite helmet. I've had Arai, and Shoei helmets since, but I've always compared them to my first Shark helmet, that was more comfortable and quieter than everything since. So I've just bought my latest helmet and I've gone back to a Shark as they now do a flip helmet, which I preferred for touring. And I'm pleased to say that it's very comfortable and very quite and even though I've only been out on my husbands bike for two trips I'm really impressed with it so far.
