Bering Yukon Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Black
Customer Product Reviews
This so far has been a good functional jacket. I only have done 800 miles so far on a trip to Kerry. As its August I have removed the thermal lining. The fit is good. It's a Gortex laminated jacket and the water runs off the jacket, so the jacket does not hold the water and stays light and completely dry unlike my RST Paragon 5 which was like a sponge and lost its waterproofing after 18mnths,early days yet, wait until I have a winter of riding done but so far so good, Gortex has never let me down yet
Great product worth the money!
I've had the Yukon jacket and pants now for a month and have commuted through the worst of British winter weather (Feb 2020 Storm Ciara & Dennis) and they've been brilliant. Temp 3 degrees with high winds and heavy rain and I have stayed dry and warm - wearing cotton base layers with the Yukon suit over the top. Good adjustment throughout. I've not tried the vents due to the horrific weather but I can imagine it might be a tad warm when the temperature rises above 25 degrees - I'll post another review in the summer. I'm 6 ft, 42 inch chest and medium/heavy build and had to get XL jacket - it has room for clothing underneath and is not baggy if just worn over base layers - the adjustment straps help here. Quality seems excellent - very robust and hard wearing. Bering's 5 year warranty is outstanding. I even got Sportsbikeshop to price match so it was even better value for money. No complaints - this is an outstanding jacket that will cope with the worst weather that Britain can throw at it! - Hopefully for years to come. PS SportsBikeShop have been helpful on the phone and made it as easy as possible to order, try on and then return many different items - and all for the best prices around - top work guys!
