Spada Enforcer WP Glove - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Great winter gloves
I bought these for my winter commute. I have large hands and struggle to find gloves with long enough fingers that also don't feel cramped across the back of the hand. These gloves are a very comfortable fit and the thermal lining doesn't pull out the gloves when you remove your hand. The thermal lining is too warm for anything but autumn/winter riding. They're definitely waterproof having survived several downpours but the cuff is too bulky to get underneath my textile jacket so After a while riding in very heavy storms the rain can seep off the jacket sleeves and down into the gloves. For the price I'd definitely recommend these gloves.
Great gloves. Comfy fit and very warm. My only slight problem (if you can call it that) Is that the wiper blade on the left thumb is slightly uncomfortable. But it may just take time to get used to as my previous gloves didn't have that. Thermal lining is great and has been used in some heavy rain and hands have remained dry!
First pair leaked around month 9 of daily use. began to smell as inside liner very difficult to dry out once wet due to the membrane not working in heavy rain.Used for another year and binned them. Got a second pair as they are very good cold weather gloves. They now provide 2 year warranty on them which is another reason I bought again. The fit for me is spot on.
Good value gloves
Good fit and well armoured gloves with the added bonus of being waterproof. Bought as a replacement pair but they are too warm for the recent hot weather so have been sidelined at the moment. Have a visor wipe/blade which is a good feature and secure snugly with the fastening straps. The wrist area is tool bulky to go under my jacket cuffs but I generally wear gloves with the cuffs of the jacket tucked in anyway.
All good I think
Full featured gloves, seem to be good quality but haven't really exercised them to their full. They're a bit thicker/warmer than I expected so have bought some Summer gloves for the meantime. Sizing I would say is a little generous; my 'L's are roomier than expected, but not enough to bother with an exchange.
I have had a pair of these before, sizing was spot on, thermal was excellent and they kept my hands dry for two years. So when I needed new gloves I thought I would stick with what I know. They kept my hands dry through two showers but 10 minutes into a 45 minute journey in Beaverton rain my left thumb (where the wiper is) was soaked and cold. And today in a light shower my thumb was soaked again
All the right features
Good fit after wearing a couple of times to break it in. It has all the right protective features and fastening straps. Good value for a pair of waterproof gloves. Good feel on the handle bar and buttons. The lining has not bunched up upon removal gloves (which I hate). Be nice if they make a non black version.
A bit bloomin brilliant
Got these as a second pair in case of bad weather and to be honest they're now my first choice. Very warm, comfortable, secure and they feel solid and protective without feeling rigid and impractical on the throttle. Haven't had the chance to test the waterproofing yet but to be honest I really can't see it being an issue.
Very warm and dry
OK, I'm impressed. Unless the roads are really icy or covered in snow, for 2-3 days a week and year round I travel by bike 50 miles each way to Tomintoul, the highest village in the Scottish Highlands. I can honestly say I have never worn such cosy gloves, but in addition they are a great fit...a firm grip without being bulky or restrictive. They are also nice and long which means you can easily wear them over or inside the jacket sleeve. Really great gloves for the winter.
Great Value Warerproof Glove
This glove is waterproof, stylish, offers reasonable warmth For most of the year and fits the hand well, except the Fingers are short on the ends which makes pushing buttons a little harder. However for the money it is excellent value and I would buy again
Never too much of a good thing
Spada attempts to walk a thin line between quality and cost. Well, they haven't lost their balance. These gloves are exactly that. They are not the highest quality gloves you'll own, but they are OK, in fact, they're rather good. They are also not the most expensive, nor cheapest. I get the impression having owned a few Spada items now that what Spada do, unlike any other manufacturer, is state a price that actually reflects the cost of manufacturing. Unlike Alpinestars or Rukka who continue to over charge for their products despite quality falling just a touch below average. To wear, the gloves are comfortable, fit well (sizing chart is pretty spot on) with one exception, I get a little extra space in the top of my thumb and trigger finger, not enough to hamper operating switches, but it's noticeable. You we be neither excited nor disappointed by these gloves. You pass over some money, you get gloves, job done.
Nicely made and quality feels good. Only niggle is the padding at the ends of the digits especially the thumbs, feels awkward when using switch gear. Only time will tell if that's just me getting used to different gloves or will be an ongoing annoyance to an otherwise decent pair of gloves.
