Cracking buying from am excellent company
Excellent set of boots, very comfortable and good fit although not tried in heavy rain yet. Had an issue with delivery (turned out to be a DPD issue). Called SBS and they resolved it within 10 mins, excellent service as always. Well and truly recommend SBS.
Does exactly what it says on the tin
Good boots. Comfortable fit, no pressure around the ankle armour. Waterproof, tested. The look well, inconspicuous, most importantly not power-rangery at all something I strive to avoid in motorcycling apparel. Does exactly what it says on the tin, and some more however: The zip catches on a seam three quarters of the way to the top on both boots, overtime I suspect this will lessen as the corner of the seam softens. The insoles sometimes come out when you remove the boot and can be a little awkward to get back into the right place. A little epoxy should sort that right out though.
I ride all year round, but on a budget, so need all my gear to be on that fine line between cost and spec, which these are. My old boots cost less than £50, but were waterproof and lasted quite well, but have been letting in water in heavy rain for the past few months. I wanted to spend a little more to get something that should last longer. Only time will tell on that one, but have ridden in very cold and wet weather the past few weeks, and all is good. No wet socks, mostly warm - sub-zero temperatures always going to hit - and feel very solid and protective too.
Good value, good quality
A good quality pair of leather boots with zip and Velcro fastening and a decent tread on the sole. These replaced my first pair of Spada boots which lasted more than five years and I am confident these will be equally durable. Great value and excellent service.
Excellent boots, waterproof & comfortable
Very impressed with these boots which I have owned for about three months now. I commute daily on my bike and they have held up brilliantly in very wet weather - completely waterproof and very comfortable. They seemed a bit insubstantial at first but actually they are very sturdy for a more compact boot and are really well made. Overall they are excellent. Only minor niggle is the insole always half slips out when taking them off, but you can shove it back in very easily. Recommended.
Excellent boots for the price
Lightweight, easy to pull on and zip up, warm, comfy...perfect for a beginner like me that has to buy everything at once. I took a 41/7 and there's room for thick socks. I'm a true size 7 in a shop such as Clark's for example. Very happy with these!
Reasonably comfortable boots, seem waterproof
I bought these boots because they were the cheapest option which seemed that they were waterproof. I've only been out in light rain for about 30 minutes but they seem waterproof so far. The fit is generally comfortable, and they certainly seem warm. I can feel the shifter and brake less than my old boots, but I think these ones are sturdier. The downsides that I've noticed are that they are not easy to take off, and they crease at the top of the foot when I walk. When I remove my feet, I slide my hands down the back of the boot to slide my feet out. I'm trying to do it this way to keep the insoles in place, but they have already started coming loose. I have my concerns about the crease long term as I think it may eventually cause a break in the material. Short term, where it digs into the top of each foot I think it may make walking uncomfortable quite quickly.
