Customer Product Reviews
At first they are a bit rigid but after bit of wear they are stretching into my hand shape nicely. I dont like anything too bulky on my hands and like to be able to move my fingers and feel what's going on. I normally go for medium size 8.5-9.5 and these are a good fit, any smaller would be too tight. Good for winter as I was out one day it was about 6c and my hands were ok, I had silk undergloves on too. If you're using a thicker underglove I would recommend going a size bigger possibly in these gloves.
I've no idea what size glove I take so ordered XL, they're a bit tight especially if my hands are a bit wet trying to get them on. Hopefully they'll give a bit with age. Maybe the cuff could have done with being a bit longer but so far so good. The Leather's nice and soft for operating the switches etc.
Seem to be well made, and warmer than expected, got the 2xl and they felt a bit snug to start with but they do seem to be giving a bit with use so about right I would say..I would edge towards the bigger size if your hand measurement if between two sizes. Delivery was spot on, haven't tried them in the wet as yet so can't comment on waterproofing and haven't had them long enough to comment on how well they will last hence only four stars for now.
Comfortable touring glove
Wanted a light weight touring glove. These are Thinsulate lined so no problem if it rains. Didn't want too much armour like a racing glove. They are comfortable straight out of the bag and they adjust at the wrist. Tiny bit long at the thumb but no worse than any other gloves I've owned. Overall, pleased with them.
Comfortable and classy
Super comfortable, soft leather glove. Not as bulky as some other gloves, so doesn't impede finger movement. The trade off for that is that they don't offer as much protection as more bulky armoured gloves will. I measured up as a large, but ordered XL as large was out of stock. The XL fits perfectly, so maybe go up a size when ordering. Seem very well made and look cool. Recommended.
Happiness is a glove that fits
Quality is the first impression. Though the gloves are a little on the snug side, due to the soft leather they stretch nicely into the shape of your hand. Often I find it very difficult to get gloves that fit me as I have broad hands and apparently, short fingers. This is where the Spada Freeride WP gloves are a step above the rest for me, they actually fit!!! They are also of a style that, if need be, could be worn as casual gloves and not look ridiculous. I am very happy with my purchase and come the time they need to be replaced, there is no doubt, I will be looking at them again if they are still available. Well done Spada.
I put them to test
One week after buying them I accidentally fell off my bike at around 15mph while wearing them. In terms of abrasion they were up to standard, as not even one scratch was on my hands. However because there is no actual hard protection ( obvious since it is says so) the glove it was not able to protect as well in terms of the impact of the fall. All in all a good glove, it was what I was looking for. I didn't want a bulky glove.
