Held Air N Dry Gore-Tex Glove - Black
Customer Product Reviews

Quality product
Very good quality but also expensive gloves. Bought firstly Held season gloves but sending back 3 times as shockingly defectives each pair and gave up . Playing around with sizes as online buying can be tricky but sportbikeshop return policy is top notch and team were helpful. I didn't try many of them but rely on positive feedback and not disappointed. You get what you pay for. Customer service is the best ever you will approach. Well done.
No more wet hands
Bought these gloves as I am riding to work every day in all conditions I have only worn these gloves in wet conditions so have yet to try the breezy mode ,I've ridden in heavy rain and was happy to finish my journey with dry hands ,must expensive gloves I have bought but so far they are worth it.
Excellent gloves
I bought these gloves as a replacement for my ageing AlpineStars 365 Goretex gloves and am not disappointed. They have an excellent, race type glove feel when using the 'Air' side and a cosy but not too thick feel when using the 'Dry' side. Haven't tested them in the wet yet but have no concerns as they are Goretex. Possibly not the warmest in the depths of winter, but that's not what I bought them for. Great quality product and great service from SBS.
Great gloves
Good quality gloves, went up one size as some do and the fit was good. Its ideal for spring and autumn to use the gortex compartment when its cool and switch to the breezy compartment as the day warms up. Not sure they would pass as a winter glove, but certainly a 3 season glove.
Decided to buy 2 other pairs
Initially these dual pocket gloves made perfect sense. When I actually tried them on, and thought about the practicalities of using them, I came to conclusion that gloves on constant use would wear out quicker than 2 separate pairs. Having one pair of perforated summer gloves (LS2 Swift) and one pair of waterproof summer gloves (Richa Street Touring) is what I finally went for. I'll just keep the pair I'm not using in my rucksack or top box.
Great Gloves
Bought these to replace well used summer gloves. Best gloves i've used to date. Will probably not renew my winter gloves depending on how warm these are this winter. Brilliant fit too due to excellent choice of finger length. Well made quality glove.
Good product
Overall good gloves. Get a one size bigger then the measurement says. Easy to take of and out on. Kangooroo leather feels great. Gore Tex pocket seems a bit tight but it works. Ive had it for 2000 mile trip for now...in rain fully waterproof. If You haven't god heated grips get one...they are summer gloves. Great ventilation...really great....no sweaty palms.
Great for UK weather
Using the thickest chamber these gloves are warm enough for an hour at about 7C, without heated grips. They give much better feel than BMW winter gloves. The breezy chamber gives really good feel and ventilation, air blows through very easily. They have been completely waterproof in heavy rain. The design and quality are excellent. So if they fit you I think they are great value.
Brilliant gloves for touring and commuting
Very comfy, definitely waterproof, and the built in squeegee is a great addition. I've gone through several heavy downpours this year and have had no water coming in. I did have to play with the sizing a little, but the top notch returns service with sportsbikeshop quickly put it right. Would definitely recommend.
Pretty good but not as warm as I would like
Bought these based on reviews. They look nice, are made very well with excellent material and workmanship and fit almost perfectly. I liked the 2 glove in one idea for spring and autumn but do not think they would be good in summer as they are rather bulky for summer gloves. I have tested them in heavy rain and they are great and have tested in cold, maybe down to 0 degrees and the only complaint I have is the finger tips are not amazingly protected. Other than that, happy enough
As close to an all round gloves as you can get!
I love these gloves. The price may seem dear but you really do get a lot of glove for the price. I ride all year round and these are definitely the closest to an all round glove than any of the other gloves I've had before. I can happily use the Goretex/Waterproof chamber (which have been thoroughly tested and I can attest to the waterproofness!) in temperatures down to 6-8 Degrees C on my 50 mile work commute (with heated grips mind). And then on the flipside, the vented, non waterproof chamber genuinely feels like you are wearing a sports/race glove and is well vented and cooling for those hot days. I'd have expected a poor fit on the fingers because of the dual chamber system but the fit is genuinely good. Both chambers offer very good feel for controls. I'd always sacrifice warmth/insulation for better feel of the controls and these dont disappoint. There is a little bit of bunching on the tips of the goretex chamber, but no more than any other waterproof glove. I like the hard knuckle protection and the visor wipe on the left thumb. I've not tested smart phone use but I can happily navigate my TomTom Rider with these gloves.. I was concerned the cuff/gauntlet was going to be bulky and cumbersome but its very low profile and comfortable fits under my Textile and Leather Jackets. I was pleasantly surprised that Held offer a 5 year warranty for these as well (although you do have to register for it so make sure you do!). I don't think any product is ever perfect but giving this 4 stars wouldn't be fair either. Buy with confidence!
Like a glove
Quality in construction and safety features makes this the best glove I have ever had. Sizing is spot on. Doesn't feel like a bulky motorcycle glove. You are able to feel controls through it easily. Switching between compartments is as easy as just putting a normal glove on. Very impressed and I feel like I have got what I paid for.
