Before this purchase, I have only ever owned ankle boots as I found others to be uncomfy or restrictive. However, I absolutely love the flexibility in these boots, they keep my feet dry and offer me extra protection during a ride. I also like how the zip is tucked in securely via velcro. For me, these are the perfect boots!

I like the fact that they've purposely made it look dirty. Seems like the ankle protection is decent and they were a good price. The leather is quite firm so they will take some wearing in.

This is the second pair I've had, the last ones lasted around 5 years of regular use. They are true to size and comfy to wear on the bike. Off the bike, they take a little time to break in, but after that are comfy to walk in. This latest version has pull straps to help get them on, which are a great addition as even with the zip down you need to loosen the laces a bit & give them a tug to get them on.

Not only do these boots look great (they passed the visual approval from the other half with flying colours) but they're super comfy. So far i've only ridden them during the hottest period of the year but they breathed nicely and didn't turn into pools. Feel like they'll be pretty hardwearing and are just as comfy off the bike as on it! I've got pretty wide feet and these accomodate well. All in all, a great value pair of super comfy boots that look fantastic!

Nice short boots so easy fit under normal shop jeans, they’ve a casual look like ‘normal’ boots. Fit wise I usually take a 10 and a half uk, mine are a Euro 45 which they say is UK 11 and that works, but I usually need a wide fit due to bunions, these are tight but adjusting the laces made them work, the left for me was instantly good, the right tight. However, adjusting the laces means the eyelet section is pushed up, so not flat and instead a little ‘open’. Rode on a short 100 mile test, all okay, but they needed wearing in to stretch. Decided to use when going to the TT, all good, but 20 mins of light rain/spray and my feet were soaked, even though I’d applied a couple of layers of NikWax walking boot protection before the trip. Ditto on the way home, okay until the last half hour when the rain appeared, again absolutely soaked my feet. Doable in warm weather, but it’d be a nightmare if cool/cold. Defo need boot covers unless you only ride in the dry, whatever ‘waterproof membrane’ they have, it’s pretty useless. On mine the insole lining has already started to part company from the rubber insole, that’ll likely come completely off completely in the near future too. After 6-700 miles they now look well worn, the gear change area especially. Overall, I’d recommend if you want light casual DRY WEATHER ONLY boots, but not great if you hit rain, your feet will be Wet Wet Wet (hence the 3-Star rating).
