Bought these boots as the Gaerne trial boots I had couldn't put up with the agricultural gear change on my GSA. I'd tried other Adventure boots but found it was like walking with calipers on! After owning the shorter Klim GTX boots ( Which are as comfy as) I took a punt on these. Love the look and colour scheme for a start off. The BOA system means regardless of the size of your calf you get a good fit. The sole is sturdy but not that you can't comfortably walk in them. But I would advise you to try them on as for some reason I had to go up a size. Highly recommend them.

They fit me well from the box, comfortable, snug and easy to pit on. Provided great feedback to the levers. Been water proof in light summer weather, however the short style doesn’t work in winter weather for me. They are scuffing quite badly on the gear change lever. Pleased, I'd buy again.

Overall good boots, lots of grip on the sole, waterproof webbing almost to the height of the boot, which for me personally is a little low, I get a draught up my leg which I didn t with my old boots, which were only an inch higher ! Also they wouldn t suffer from a stronger set of boot laces.
