Oxford Cypher 1.0 Dry2Dry Boots - Black / White / Red So far so good. I've only been out on a few rides with these boots so far, but of those few rides it's chucked it down twice and both times my feet were bone dry. Just be wary though, you are going to need to break these boots in properly - a week around the house should do it
They are true to size but if you like a bit of wiggle room & thicker sock room, then I'd buy one size bigger.
Oddly enough these aren't too bad to walk in either.
I've only put 4/5 due to only owning them a couple of weeks so that's not really long enough for 5/5. If they last a min of a year without leaks & maintain their comfort then it'll be a 5/5 for me - although I do own the Oxford Merton 2.0 boots as well & they are indeed a 5/5.
Price wise, you can't really go wrong here - especially against the likes of alpinstars, I'd choose these every time.
Alpinestars J-6 Waterproof Shoe - Black / White These fit like ordinary trainers, they are extremely comfy, and the DryStar lining has never let me down. Would be a 5-star review, but the sole started to come away after a year of ownership.
Dainese Torque 4 Air Boots - Black / Lava Red I wanted a new boot for road and track, and tried these and the Alpinestars Supertech R. I wear a size 48, which can cause issues with bulk and the difference in fit and look was night and day. The Supertechs, whilst clearly being an amazing boot with a more sporty appearance, were absolutely huge by comparison, yet somehow still a little too snug in the inside with pressure around the toes. The Torque 4s, on the other hand, look noticeably smaller, in a good way, but are all-day comfortable. They are also very premium and due to their size being reduced, look way better.
Oxford Ladies Kickback Leather Boots - Black Comfortable boots with plenty of room to get thick socks on. Long length laces to customise lacing tension.
Richa Brookland Leather Boots - Rust These are very nice boots but the stiffness and sizing around the toes is not great. Ordered a size up as always do on riding boots, but with winter socks are extremely cramped and uncomfortable. I made the mistake of thinking they would break in, soften and ease up (had for two months now) but far from it. Up to you to consider what you need but I definitely should have ordered two sizes up. As one size up isn't.
Daytona Lady Star Gore-Tex Boots - Black Worn a few times. Good fit, true to size although hard to put on initially as leather stiff and zips not the easiest to pull up. Once on, very comfortable and raises my height considerably, enough the flat foot. Had to adjust gear shift lever as boot soles very thick.
Richa Calgary WP Leather Boots - Black These boots are amazing. They’re super comfortable and I can wear them all day if I have to and I won’t notice. They also look great and blend well with any outfit considering they’re gear. They feel well built and usually last long. Definitely recommend.
