Urban and touring boots by Furygan
Ladies CE approved urban boot with D3O armour and waterproof liner
So far so good
First off, first class service from SBS, delivery was exceptionally fast! My second pair of motorcycle boots, I'd not heard of Furygan before so too a little punt based on the reviews I'd seen and the general style of the boots being to my liking. Size I'm usually 9-10 in boot size, went for the size 10 as I can find the 9's are a little too tight. These have plenty of space, just a smidge big for my feet but I didn't want to risk going smaller. Nice space across the wide part of your feet just under your toes so if you have wide feet these will be fine. Quality Hard to describe the texture of these, its fabric, but being waterproof I'm hoping they are hard wearing. Laces are nice and thick, look like they will last a while and the velcro strap keeps the top of the boots tidy. Can imagine over time this will lose it 'stickyness' as my last boots did. Only had for a couple weeks and so far so good. Waterproof I've ridden in the rain a couple of times and no leaks experienced. I'll be wearing these as a 4 seasons boot as I'm really only commuting. Protection The toes are solid and you get protection around your ankles. You also get some extra support around your gear peddle section of the boot. Summary Comfortable, provides good support and feels like they will protect your feet. Nice style, on criticism is the outer fabric might show wear and tear quicker than I would like.Read more
First , thanks Sportsbikeshop for fast efficient service. Right my Furygan boots which I've had for a few weeks now. Mostly very comfy from the off other than a couple of rubs from new boots but they went after the second ride. As far as waterproof goes I've never used them in heavy rain so can't comment but a friend who has some Furygan boots say his are perfectly dry always so I don't see why I should have a problem!! Riding is a treat as I dont notice I have them on which surly is the mark of a good boot? The build quality is up there too being well made, they look great to if that matters to ya. Over all I'm chuffed to bits with my Boots coz they do the job and I can use them down the pub. I do have to untie the laces as well as pull the zip down to get them off or on but honestly I don't care as these are Brilliant.Read more
Very comfortable once you've worn them a few times. Don't do the laces too tight near the top until the boot has softened a little as the armour may cause some pain in the ankle when walking. Can easily wear these all day on or off the bike if it's not too warm (mid 20's). Reasonably sturdy so should offer good protection but the toe cap doesn't seen particularly rigid so as the leather softens the protection here will be limited. But these are not about ultimate protection, they pass for normal boots when worn with jeans and are comfortable enough to wear all day long.Read more
