Bought this in February, it’s now June and just seen the cover has split at the top, not happy.
Good quality as usual with Oxford. Fits nicely over the bike and being waterproof is perfect for my needs . Packs up small too if you need to travel with it . Definitely recommend it
Does what it says on the tin. It's a decent, basic rain cover.
I got the Medium size with top box and fits my Honda 125 nicely, although in the rain it's not taught enough to prevent the water from pooling on the seat. Maybe it's not quite the perfect size. It still protects the bike from the water either way, so it does it's job.
There is a single strap that goes underneath the bike to secure it, and the cover has an 'elasticated' base at both ends so it it hugs the wheels. Not sure how hardy the strap is, as I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but it seems secure enough for the time being.
Overall, a decent budget bike cover that protects your bike from the elements.
Purchased XL for a BMW GSA with large topbox and panniers. Very lightweight and packed discreetly in bottom of pannier.
Used when parked in hotel to hide bike and cover fitted easily conforming to the topbox and to ground fully covering the bike from trying eyes.
One morning it was very dewing and the water beaded well and easily flicked off.
Not a heavy cover for permanent outdoor use but great for when on a road trip.

Purchased a large cover for my bike which has a top box. It’s fits well and was a great price
Only got 1 day use out of this cover. I purchased this at a store with a two hour drive from home. I did not try it out before I took it to work. When I put it n my ZX-6R I realised it had a giant area for a rear box. My fault as I didn’t read the packaging very well. It was a windy day so it looked like it was going to fly away with my bike. The other mistake was attaching the strap underneath while the engine was still hot! Needless to say I am searching for a better fitting cover and if there is such a thing as a strap that can handle the heat…. Otherwise, a very nice cover that is compact enough to carry in my small back pack.
I bought the medium size for my S1000R and it fits well. Decent quality for the money and belly strap is useful.
So this Oxford cover does feel over priced for what you get however it does the job, I think for £40 though it's rather on the high end of motorcycle covers but lacks the quality to be there. The clip underneath is always the first part to fail so it's worth using a bungee cord to hold the cover down to minimise damage from the wind getting in

What size cover do I need for my Vespa scooter with topbox. Do I measure the height to the top of the mirrors (as this is 137cm) or to the height of the topbox which is 105 cm. The length is 203 cm and the width 90cm across the mirrors but 44 cm across widest part of body (foot rests)

Hi, I'm slightly confused about this cover. The product description says it's heat resistant to 150 degrees, but when receiving the cover the pack says do not place over hot components. I bought it so I can throw it overly bike as soon as I get off, if I do will it melt? Many thanks
January 31, 2017A motorcycle exhaust and engine components can be far hotter than 150 degrees directly after use, so the cover should not be used until the motorcycle has cooled down.
