Passionate biker Damon loves nothing more than hitting the road, or dirt, on a bike. He’s already tackled a six-day trip in Australia and spent two days enduro riding in Spain. He owns a Suzuki GSX-R750 for the road, a Yamaha DT175MX trail bike and harbours ambitions of adding track riding to his repertoire as well. He’s keen on all types of riding and is ready to take on any challenge thrown at him.

I’m extremely happy with my new suit from SportsBikeShop in Reading! From start to finish, the service was brilliant.

A massive thank you to Dean, who was absolutely amazing. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed, helped me find the right options, and pointed me in the right direction without making me feel pressured. He was super polite, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely went above and beyond to help.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Dean enough 10/10 service! I’m really happy with my new suit and the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back!

This year I've bought and upgraded quite a bit of kit in preparation for a tour. I mostly buy online and the experience is great, really simple process and easy to return. I've struggled to find motorcycle trousers to fit me so visited my local store in Reading, and had the good fortune to have Dean on hand to help. Dean was amazing, great recommendations from someone that properly understood what I was looking for and his recommendations were spot on. Love my new kit. I had to return a week later because the helmet wasn't quite fitting as it should and also I struggled to install the comms. Dean sorted all of this out with fitment on the day, and he sorted out the comms over the weekend so I could pick it up on Monday. Honestly, this is the best service I've ever had from any retailer, and Dean in the Reading store is a credit and asset to Sportsbikeshop.

SBS have got it so right! Great website, easy ordering and quick delivery. Always someone on the end of the phone if needed. Shops are great too. The Reading shop has a great range and great staff team.

Sophia at the Reading store was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My husband and I had gone in this morning to look at summer jackets that we had ordered via the "Try on or buy" feature (VERY useful!). We were very happy with our purchases and Sophia was extremely helpful, ensuring we were assisted throughout the whole process. 10/10 for the Reading Store!

Is everything online available in-store?

Our stores have a very good selection of our most popular products, and for everything else you can use our ‘Try on or Buy’ system to have the items shipped to store ready for your arrival. Providing it’s in stock online, it’ll be there next day in-store for you, 7 days a week - no payment required, and we’ll let you know when it lands. It’s that simple!

*Can you fit my intercom for me?

As a helmet specialist, we’re happy to advise on the fitting of an intercom for your new helmet, and we’re also happy to do the fitting for you when timing allows – please just bear with us at peak times as you may need to leave it with us! Alternatively, you can always schedule a drop-off with us so we can ensure we have plenty of time to help. Please note though, that fitting new intercoms to older helmets is not always possible, as there may be compatibility issues that can lead to damage being caused during the fitting process. We also ask that your helmet is thoroughly cleaned prior to us fitting your intercom.

Can I check if an item is in stock before visiting a store?

Yes! Our website will tell you if an item is in stock at a store. To avoid disappointment, you can also send items to any store to ‘Try on or Buy’. Most items, if available at our warehouse, can be delivered to store next day. No payment required!

What payment methods do you accept in store?

Payment can be made by debit/credit card including American Express, and cash. We also offer Klarna finance in all stores. Whilst we accept PayPal on our website PayPal do not currently have an in-store payment method.

I purchased something online; can I return it to a store?

Sure! Provided the product is in original unused condition in line with our returns policy, your online order can be returned to any of our stores.

Can I telephone the store?

Although our stores don’t have their own dedicated phone number, our customer service team will be happy to help on 01205 360099 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Saturday.

Are dogs allowed in-store?

We understand that dogs are a part of many people's lives, and we welcome well-behaved dogs in our stores. We kindly ask though that you keep your furry friend on a leash at all times. Please also be mindful of other customers who may not be comfortable around dogs. If your dog becomes disruptive or we feel it poses a safety concern, we may kindly ask that you take your pet out of the store. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you and your furry companion!

I’m on my bike, can you ship my purchase to my home?

Of course! No charge for orders over £25.

Do you offer custom helmet fitting?

Absolutely! We can switch cheek pads and skull liners to help ensure you get the very best fit. Currently this is available for Arai and Schuberth, as well as Shoei for which we offer the Shoei Personal Fitting System (PFS) at selected stores. If you’d like to book-in a fitting, just contact us to arrange an appointment.
