Merlin Akashi Pro Laminate D3O Jacket - Desert Merlin Akashi Pro Laminate D3O Jacket - Desert
My first day wearing this jacket was during my mod 1 training, in absolute torrential rain all day long. Not once did I feel cold and I was completely dry underneath. I've had other cheaper Oxford jackets before but now having done over 1000 miles in this Merlin it's my go to. Spacious in terms of sizing, but the protection is still in the right places and feels comfortable. I can easily wear a hoodie or jumpers underneath and ride in sub 5c weather comfortably. When it gets a bit toasty, there are plenty of vents you can open to get some air flowing. Loads of pockets too which is great for all the things I carry such as keys, ear protectors, glasses etc. I often don't wear a neck tube for shorter rides as the neck protector does a brilliant job keeping the wind off your neck.

Weise Ozark Textile Jacket - Black Weise Ozark Textile Jacket - Black
A great winter jacket, I commute to work on my bike, all weathers.
As we know, not everything that says waterproof is!
But 5 starts for this Weise Ozark jacket and trousers,
I have just had 4 days of heavy rain, traveling for 30mins each way, on flooded duel carriage ways, not one leak.
very impressed, very good fit, had to go up a size as over clothes
I like that I can do up the collar easy, some you just struggle
I have weise Leathers very good, why I tried these.

Rukka Kalix 2.0 Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Black Rukka Kalix 2.0 Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Black
Jacket is well made , haven t tried it in the pouring rain yet, hoping it lives up to its reputation. No back protection and Rukka D30 back protection is twice as much as other products. I found the same protection D30 from triumph at half the price. Great service from sportsbikeshop as usual

Oxford Holborn Jacket - Black Oxford Holborn Jacket - Black
I wanted a 'summer jacket' that was practical and looked cool ...
In the past, waxed cotton was messy, but not this jacket ;)
- Highly recommended, especially at the discount ...

Oxford Montreal 4.0 Textile Jacket - Stealth Black Oxford Montreal 4.0 Textile Jacket - Stealth Black
I was loaned a set of these (jacket and trousers) by sportsbikeshop when sending my Alpinestars Andes v3 set back for inspection as I was getting wet through on my commute.
I can say that this gear isnt up to the level of the Andes V3. I will admit my commute is long, at 2 hours and 116 miles and I seem to favour doing it during the storms we've been having but I arrived both at work and at home completely wet through.
I have become accustomed (spoiled) by the alpinestars flex armour in their gear and to go back to more traditional hard armour inserts was challenging. In fact I removed the elbow protection as I found it to dig in which just wouldn't do on a long ride. There is, as usual these days, no back protector in the jacket either.
The zip arrangement on the sleeves is confusing. There is a two way zip that goes along the forearm to the cuff which I guess is for ventilation but just leads to a zip under your glove alongside a small velcro wrist strap to tighten the cuff. The sleeve opening didnt feel big enough to easily get a glove under and so I ended up wearing them over the top which didnt provide much wrist flexibility.
The zip together for the trousers is a short (maybe 6 inches or so) elasticated section at the back which doesn't feel all that secure at holding the two pieces together and definitely doesn't provide any form of weather protection either.
I had the black pair which do have some "reflective details" I've no idea how visible I am because I cant see myself from afar... but I didnt feel as visible as in my usual lighter coloured gear!

Klim Marrakesh CE Textile Jacket - Stealth Black Klim Marrakesh CE Textile Jacket - Stealth Black
Excellent piece, great mobility; something you can do is stick a thin rain jacket over it for waterproof.
Would probably wear a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath as it can be a bit scratchy on the skin.
