Great jacket at a great price
Wolf Fortitude CE Waterproof Textile Jacket - Black Wolf Fortitude CE Waterproof Textile Jacket - Black
29 November 2023 by Paul
I have been looking for a while to replace my all seasons jacket. The wolf Fortitude jacket has now done this. It's warm, comfortable and fits really well, although the sizing is a Lyon the small side so I had to go up 2 sizes from my normal jacket to get a good fit. Great service from sports bike shop

Okay fit for tall person
Merlin Xander Aramid Hoodie - Black Merlin Xander Aramid Hoodie - Black

I'm 6'5" and not bad fit,
49/50" chest 4xl was perfect fit for chest, and arm length is good too,
On my sportier bike I have to use the loop in the back to my my belt loop as not to look like a builder on a building site,
The zipper inside to zip on bottoms is too far up for me being tall but loop is great.
Bit bulkier than expected so not too great as to go under a normal jacket you may have.
Only used in colder days/evenings with a base layer and t-shirt and warm enough but can feel the breath ability not sure about how hot in the summer,
The neck hole you feel a bit restricted at first but don't notice after a while.
I paid £100 off sportsbikeshop
Which is about its money.
£199 rrp is way too much.

RST S-1 CE Leather Jacket - Black / Grey / Neon Orange RST S-1 CE Leather Jacket - Black / Grey / Neon Orange

As it was fairly cheap, I think the quality of materials and fit and finish are very good (and I didn't get it in the black friday sales...could've saved even more).
Zips easily to my RST leather pants (as it should).
Sizing is spot on IMO - I read a review that said to go up a size, but I don't think that's necessary.

Dainese Springbok 3L Absoluteshell Textile Jacket - Monks Robe / Black Dainese Springbok 3L Absoluteshell Textile Jacket - Monks Robe / Black

Bought this on a whim, I wanted a longer "touring" jacket to go with jeans, but I didn't want the standard issue type jacket (rukka/klim/etc) as its just not needed for my riding habits at all. This was a pleasant surprise, great functionality with 3 removable layers and loads of vents. Was warm on in a 4 degree ride which was very surprising. Very happy with the look to, goes to show all tourer type jackets don't have to be excessively "oooo at me I'm an adventurer"

Expensive, but so worth it
Rev'it Outback 4 H2O Textile Jacket - Blue / Blue Rev'it Outback 4 H2O Textile Jacket - Blue / Blue

I know this is an expensive jacket but I only wanted one jacket (and trousers) that could be used all year round, and I found that this jacket ticks all the boxes. The fit, cut, quality of construction and sizing is spot on. I am 6'1" tall, 40/42" chest with long arms and this jacket in size L fits me perfectly. The size chart is accurate. I put the Revit back armour in and having had a jacket with the Oxford armour in I would say that the Revit jacket and armour combination is far more comfortable. I would say, save your pennies and get this jacket. I really recommend it. I have the trousers too and they fit so comfortable too.
