Spencer Lewis

Bristol Store Manager

Inspired as a baby by a Harley Davidson, Spencer has been riding since he was 17. A fan of sportsbikes and trackdays, Spencer owns a Yamaha R7 but is currently bike shopping. With no car licence he’s out all year in all weathers, so while he’d love another race rep, it’s actually a comfy commuter that’s on his radar next. The desire for a big fairing, heated grips and waterproof hard luggage being more important than lap times at present.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel I really need to on this occasion.
I went to the Bristol branch to try on leathers, helmets, boots and gloves. The staff were very friendly and helpful, when I ask a question about the product they were knowledgeable. I only came away with bike jeans on my visit, however the member of staff (I wish I clocked his name) helped me with my large order.

Now this is where it gets amazing.

I left the store just after 2pm on a Friday afternoon, by Saturday 1:35pm my order had arrived at my door.
Very pleased with Sports bike shop. Will definitely use again,

What amazing help. I went in with a tonne of questions and Courtney @ the Bristol store was fantastic. Demonstrating the CE options, trying on the many sizes and working out all the key elements I wanted to make sure they worked together. Thanks for you’re help Courtney, my journey home was a warm one!

Good clothing options (online) and guaranteed to find something you need, even with my messed up hand and knee always managed to find something suitable.
The next day delivery is spot on, always been on time with good tracking, thank fook they use dpd instead of the evri muppets. Not once have I had a problem with ordering or returns and I've ordered lots lol. 4.5/5 lost half a star only due to needing slightly more packaging in outer box.

P.s visited bristol store for a look and could do with more options/choices as seemed limited.
normally order online though so no drama and was an excuse for a ride.

We have experienced exemplary service on both occasions we visited the Bristol outlet.
I can't speak too highly of the staff from the welcome we received to their expert knowledge & guidance.
The pricing, ordering & delivery service from Sportsbike shop was also brilliant with courteous staff on the phone dealing with our every request.

Is everything online available in-store?

Our stores have a very good selection of our most popular products, and for everything else you can use our ‘Try on or Buy’ system to have the items shipped to store ready for your arrival. Providing it’s in stock online, it’ll be there next day in-store for you, 7 days a week - no payment required, and we’ll let you know when it lands. It’s that simple!

*Can you fit my intercom for me?

As a helmet specialist, we’re happy to advise on the fitting of an intercom for your new helmet, and we’re also happy to do the fitting for you when timing allows – please just bear with us at peak times as you may need to leave it with us! Alternatively, you can always schedule a drop-off with us so we can ensure we have plenty of time to help. Please note though, that fitting new intercoms to older helmets is not always possible, as there may be compatibility issues that can lead to damage being caused during the fitting process. We also ask that your helmet is thoroughly cleaned prior to us fitting your intercom.

Can I check if an item is in stock before visiting a store?

Yes! Our website will tell you if an item is in stock at a store. To avoid disappointment, you can also send items to any store to ‘Try on or Buy’. Most items, if available at our warehouse, can be delivered to store next day. No payment required!

What payment methods do you accept in store?

Payment can be made by debit/credit card including American Express, and cash. We also offer Klarna finance in all stores. Whilst we accept PayPal on our website PayPal do not currently have an in-store payment method.

I purchased something online; can I return it to a store?

Sure! Provided the product is in original unused condition in line with our returns policy, your online order can be returned to any of our stores.

Can I telephone the store?

Although our stores don’t have their own dedicated phone number, our customer service team will be happy to help on 01205 360099 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Saturday.

Are dogs allowed in-store?

We understand that dogs are a part of many people's lives, and we welcome well-behaved dogs in our stores. We kindly ask though that you keep your furry friend on a leash at all times. Please also be mindful of other customers who may not be comfortable around dogs. If your dog becomes disruptive or we feel it poses a safety concern, we may kindly ask that you take your pet out of the store. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you and your furry companion!

I’m on my bike, can you ship my purchase to my home?

Of course! No charge for orders over £25.

Do you offer custom helmet fitting?

Absolutely! We can switch cheek pads and skull liners to help ensure you get the very best fit. Currently this is available for Arai and Schuberth, as well as Shoei for which we offer the Shoei Personal Fitting System (PFS) at selected stores. If you’d like to book-in a fitting, just contact us to arrange an appointment.
