Paul’s been riding since he was 16, starting out on scooters and 125s before later owning a string of '90s favourites including an XJR1300, Zephyr 550, Superdreams, 600 Diversion and a couple of Harleys. These days he’s on a Triumph Trident Sprint with a couple of projects in the shed. When he’s not talking bikes you’ll usually find him busy tackling home DIY, or being kept in check by Maisie the cat.

Rob at the Preston store! Excellent service 👌🏻

ROB! This guy was a delight to deal with.
Rob was really helpful when me and a mate were at the Preston store looking at helmets and jackets. He spent time explaining the different styles, brands, safety standards/fearures and anything else we need to know or asked of him.
I picked a style and brand I liked and ordered my size to the store.
I also tried a couple of jackets and after discussing my needs Rob recommended a different one, slightly more money but discounted, so I ordered one in my size to arrive at the shop the next day along with my helmet.
The next day (today) I got a text saying the items were in store ready for me to try on so off I went (Bolton to Preston).
The very pleasant young lady behind The counter located my jacket and helmet 'on the system' and Rob went to get them for me.
I faffed a bit and tried another helmet for further comparison and discussed fit and wear with Rob. Decision made, jacket and helmet purchased with a discount on a back protector as an added bonus.
All in all, a really pleasurable and satisfying experience, particularly down to Rob's professionalism. No pressure or attempts to sway me one way or another, just very helpful advice and friendly chat.
The shop is well stocked and every staff member had a smile and was ready to help. ROB smashed it though.

Another brilliant buy at Sportsbike Shop, Preston. Definitely the shop to go to for motorbike gear. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at all. Customer service, friendliness and a 'want to help' is second to non - thank you to you all :-)

Is everything online available in-store?

Our stores have a very good selection of our most popular products, and for everything else you can use our ‘Try on or Buy’ system to have the items shipped to store ready for your arrival. Providing it’s in stock online, it’ll be there next day in-store for you, 7 days a week - no payment required, and we’ll let you know when it lands. It’s that simple!

*Can you fit my intercom for me?

As a helmet specialist, we’re happy to advise on the fitting of an intercom for your new helmet, and we’re also happy to do the fitting for you when timing allows – please just bear with us at peak times as you may need to leave it with us! Alternatively, you can always schedule a drop-off with us so we can ensure we have plenty of time to help. Please note though, that fitting new intercoms to older helmets is not always possible, as there may be compatibility issues that can lead to damage being caused during the fitting process. We also ask that your helmet is thoroughly cleaned prior to us fitting your intercom.

Can I check if an item is in stock before visiting a store?

Yes! Our website will tell you if an item is in stock at a store. To avoid disappointment, you can also send items to any store to ‘Try on or Buy’. Most items, if available at our warehouse, can be delivered to store next day. No payment required!

What payment methods do you accept in store?

Payment can be made by debit/credit card including American Express, and cash. We also offer Klarna finance in all stores. Whilst we accept PayPal on our website PayPal do not currently have an in-store payment method.

I purchased something online; can I return it to a store?

Sure! Provided the product is in original unused condition in line with our returns policy, your online order can be returned to any of our stores.

Can I telephone the store?

Although our stores don’t have their own dedicated phone number, our customer service team will be happy to help on 01205 360099 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Saturday.

Are dogs allowed in-store?

We understand that dogs are a part of many people's lives, and we welcome well-behaved dogs in our stores. We kindly ask though that you keep your furry friend on a leash at all times. Please also be mindful of other customers who may not be comfortable around dogs. If your dog becomes disruptive or we feel it poses a safety concern, we may kindly ask that you take your pet out of the store. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you and your furry companion!

I’m on my bike, can you ship my purchase to my home?

Of course! No charge for orders over £25.

Do you offer custom helmet fitting?

Absolutely! We can switch cheek pads and skull liners to help ensure you get the very best fit. Currently this is available for Arai and Schuberth, as well as Shoei for which we offer the Shoei Personal Fitting System (PFS) at selected stores. If you’d like to book-in a fitting, just contact us to arrange an appointment.
