Preston

Usually shop mail order but wanted to try some jackets and some airbag vests

Pro ordered in a variety of sizes so they were in store at Preston, a 140 mile round trip
Went with a mate and he had pre ordered 3 jackets of adifferent make

Jackets that I had ordered were not quite right for me
Another jacket that may have been was not in stock
The airbag vests was the AStars Tech 5. It was OK but I made the mistake of trying the plasma version on.
So much more comfy, but £130 more expensive

The nice thing was all the items were carted out to a big seating area and we were left alone to try on
Staff were present for any questions we had.

I had the plasma vest on for about 40 minutes, trying on other jackets and just sitting around drinking free coffee....no hassle

Eventually bought the plasma vest and ordered another jacket. Paid for the items and they were delivered next morning.....pretty good

Jacket again wasn't right, so tht's gone back free and I know from previous experience that the refund will be done quick

The Tech5 Plasma vest is staying....the search continues for a new jacket

Great prices on both items I bought. Service was superb as always at the Preston branch. Paul and Matt went more than the extra mile with helpful advice, patience and would you believe it - Paul even dropped off the heavy item to me after work as I was on my bike without panniers. I wont shop anywhere else for my motorcycle gear. Thank you so much!
