Stuart first got into bikes while working at one of the industry’s biggest wholesalers, where he spent nearly 30 years in the trade. His first motorcycle was a Kawasaki AR125 2-stroke, but he also enjoys all things off-road – even tackling the trails of Sardinia on a KTM 300 EXC! Away from bikes, Stuart’s a music lover who never says no to karaoke, a keen gamer when time allows, and a foster parent who values family life above all else.

Always great service, now with a personal touch at

I have always had great service from Sportsbike Shop using mail order, but having the new store in Southampton adds to the experience. I have used both the try before you buy and return mail order to store paths and both were excellent. There were a few IT issues when they first opened but that seems to have been resolved by my second visit.

The store team are friendly and helpful and there is ample space to park (bikes or cars). You can store your helmet and grab a free coffee while you browse and they also have a bathroom - handy.

Exceptional service from the moment we walked in.
Stuart went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our purchases. He listened attentively, helped us consider various options, and gave us space when we needed it. We left with some fabulous gear and we highly recommend SportsBikeShop Southampton!

Really pleased to have SBS new Southampton store within a sensible distance. It's easy to find just off Millbrock Roundabout, clean and bright and has a impressive selection of stock.
All the Staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, willing to offer advice but without being pushy or attempting to upsell - I was able to easily return a couple of unwanted online items and also used the Try-or-Buy service for the first time. Everything was quick and straightforward.

I visited the southampton store and had a fantastic shopping experience. Helpful staff but not pushy. Offered all the help I required and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. (I tried on alot)

Online is also great, such an easy process. Returns is super easy if it doesn't fit. No hassle.

I am impressed by sports bike shop.

FAQS

Is everything online available in-store?

Our stores have a very good selection of our most popular products, and for everything else you can use our ‘Try on or Buy’ system to have the items shipped to store ready for your arrival. Providing it’s in stock online, it’ll be there next day in-store for you, 7 days a week - no payment required, and we’ll let you know when it lands. It’s that simple!

*Can you fit my intercom for me?

As a helmet specialist, we’re happy to advise on the fitting of an intercom for your new helmet, and we’re also happy to do the fitting for you when timing allows – please just bear with us at peak times as you may need to leave it with us! Alternatively, you can always schedule a drop-off with us so we can ensure we have plenty of time to help. Please note though, that fitting new intercoms to older helmets is not always possible, as there may be compatibility issues that can lead to damage being caused during the fitting process. We also ask that your helmet is thoroughly cleaned prior to us fitting your intercom.

Can I check if an item is in stock before visiting a store?

Yes! Our website will tell you if an item is in stock at a store. To avoid disappointment, you can also send items to any store to ‘Try on or Buy’. Most items, if available at our warehouse, can be delivered to store next day. No payment required!

What payment methods do you accept in store?

Payment can be made by debit/credit card including American Express, and cash. We also offer Klarna finance in all stores. Whilst we accept PayPal on our website PayPal do not currently have an in-store payment method.

I purchased something online; can I return it to a store?

Sure! Provided the product is in original unused condition in line with our returns policy, your online order can be returned to any of our stores.

Can I telephone the store?

Although our stores don’t have their own dedicated phone number, our customer service team will be happy to help on 01205 360099 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Saturday.

Are dogs allowed in-store?

We understand that dogs are a part of many people's lives, and we welcome well-behaved dogs in our stores. We kindly ask though that you keep your furry friend on a leash at all times. Please also be mindful of other customers who may not be comfortable around dogs. If your dog becomes disruptive or we feel it poses a safety concern, we may kindly ask that you take your pet out of the store. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you and your furry companion!

I’m on my bike, can you ship my purchase to my home?

Of course! No charge for orders over £25.

Do you offer custom helmet fitting?

Absolutely! We can switch cheek pads and skull liners to help ensure you get the very best fit. Currently this is available for Arai and Schuberth, as well as Shoei for which we offer the Shoei Personal Fitting System (PFS) at selected stores. If you’d like to book-in a fitting, just contact us to arrange an appointment.
