I've always liked Nexx helmets since my first XR1R Carbon back in the day, so when I was looking for an adventure style lid they were my first choice. The X.Lifecountry Carbon in Terra Matt Grey / Neon ticks all my boxed, I wanted a versatile flip front helmet (if you wear glasses you'll get it) with fully integrated comms, carbon fibre shell, internal sunvisor, Pinlock Max 120, a peak, and a grey and neon colour scheme. I'm very happy with it, it's quiet at speed behind the screen of my Tiger 1200, fits like it was made just for me, it's well ventilated and has a feeling of quality to it. For me, there are no downsides at all and it also comes with a 5 year warranty if registered with Nexx. Five stars all round, and the guys at SBS Birmingham couldn't have been more helpful.

Visor change is a pain

Good helmet, great price, it fits the same as other Arai's
The only issue is the visor change is long winded and different to every other arai I've had
Not great for frequent light to dark visor swaps
I'd recommend checking YouTube before making a decision

I really want to like this helmet. The view out of the helmet is amazing and its a very pretty helmet but it is the most uncomfortable helmet I have ever used.

For the size I am always a 2XL and have owned 6 helmets now where that was the case. When wearing this helmet with the front closed the helmet clamps down onto the temple of my head and onto my jaw so after an hour of driving I had to take the helmet off. With the front flipped up there is still some pressure on my temple but nowhere near as much. For this reason alone I have already replaced this helmet. Please try before you buy

I understand the specs were listed but wow this is a heavy helmet. This was never an issue with any other helmet but especially with the front up, since the weight is so high you can really feel it on the back of your neck.
