AGV K6 S - Reeval White / Red / Grey Impressed with the AGV K6-S, firstly it s very light compared to other helmets at this price point, it is also well made, the vents have a decent motion and easy to use with a glove and they work well as you can feel the airflow, changing visors is easy and the ability to lock in a slightly open position is great. I found you do get a bit of buffeting at speed but this can be due to various factors. Can t really comment on noise as I use earplugs and again can vary bike to bike.
Nolan X-903 Ultra Carbon Puro - Carbon Fibre One of the best helmets I ve ever purchased fits great and looks great to
Leatt ADV 8.5 - Royal Really nice helmet, good build quality and surprisingly quiet for a peaked lid. I ride a F900GS with a standard screen (I m 6 ) and don t feel like the peak catches the wind much if at all on the motorway. It s also just the right length to keep the sun out of your eyes.
The photochromic visor is excellent and has a nice wide field of view and there is no need for tools to remove which is great. It doesn t have a cracked setting but it still gives you a nice bit of wind if you just don t lock it down.
Ventilation is excellent through the chin bar, but I m not feeling much through the forehead vents sadly.
The liner is plush and the Double D ring is good to have although the small button to tidy the excess is a bit far up the strap making it awkward to use.
It also comes with a clear visor, and a set of Leatt 4.5 goggles (would have loved a sticker or two).
Only reason I m not giving 5 stars is because of the forehead ventilation and the fiddly button on the chin strap. Go try one on, I think you ll be pleasantly surprised and it s the same price as an X5 but with a photochromic visor makes it a great but in my opinion.
HJC C10 - Fop Blue / Fluo White My kid loves the colour and it has very faint sparkles, unlike the fop orange which is matte. Feels very safe and secure
HJC C10 - Fop Orange My kid loves the colour and glad it s bright so road users can see him well. I know Hjc is a good brand so I feel safe with it and know it will protect him
LS2 Scope II - White My last helmet was a Schubert C5 so to say I was worried about jumping so far down in price would be an understatement.
This helmet was a surprise! No where near as loud as I was expecting and looks pretty nice too.
The front is a bit stiff to get up and down but I suspect that ll ease over time.
The fact that it comes with a PinLock just makes this lid amazing value.
HJC V10 - Matt Black This helmet is the most comfortable and quiet I ve ever owned. I ve used HJC helmets for years as they fit my head perfectly. Sizing is spot on.
It looks and feels a quality item. The visor mechanism took a little getting used to but works well. It s also very light.
On my first ride it was immediately noticeable how quiet this helmet is. As was the comfort. I ve used it 7 times so far and with each ride (longest 4 hours) I have just been more and more impressed. Usual Sportsbike shop great service
