Held Back Protector

Bought 2 Held Back Protectors for my wife and myself for our Held Mesh Jackets.

Excellent product, but tight to fit in through the gap provided but easily done. Once in you can hardly notice it's there and gives us peace of mind having them on, They are light weight and does exactly what it says on the tin, very happy with them and I hope I never have to use them..

Just wish that SBS would have a customer service email as I would have appreciated some advice before buying but I couldn't get in touch.

Order size L for for my Held Jacket fits perfectly & comfy for added protection, would recommend for use in Held jackets.

Two gripes with this back protector:

1. The orange section has a layer of high(er) density foam encapsulated within it. The problem is that this high density layer stops just below the perforations leaving about 3 inches of just floppy foam beneath that, and so you lower spine has little if any protection.

2. A further layer of high density foam is loosely stitched to the inner most side. The problem is that this has been left square-edged and so is a bit uncomfortable where it contacts your back.

Can't recommend, there are better options available.
