Alpinestars Sektor V2 Tech Hoodie - Black / Bright Red

I had five different jackets to choose from, and for me this was the best. Lightweight, but still with amour in the right places. Full front zip, and zipped external pockets. One zipped internal pocket and another with Velcro. The fit on the arms and around the waist was spot on. An XL for tall slim(ish) was spot on. Sleeve cuffs go inside my short summer gloves. The wind proof material feels just right for our summer days, no chill without overheating, easy to lower the main zip when riding slow. Expected Alpinestars quality.

I was looking for an armoured hoodie. I've had items from sportsbikeshop.co.uk in the past and was very impressed with the service. again I was not let down. Ordered with next day delivery. The hoodie is fantastic. I wanted one with zips on the pockets so they could be used while riding. it also has internal pockets. The hood is detachable and has a press stud to hold the hood down while riding. It is also surprisingly warm and doesn't need many base layers. I only had a tee shirt on and it was fine. The sizing is also very good and true to the size guide. Very happy with my purchase. Thx.

I originally ordered this jacket as a summer riding jacket, but I've had it on the bike already and first impressions are very good. It kept out a light shower of rain and it does have fairly good wing stopping properties. I have added the Alpinestars back protector just for extra safety and the fitment is perfect. You get the usual Alpinestars quality. I would recommend

Fits really well and seems well made. Looks really smart on. Although I did order a large and have to exchange it for an x-large. I usually wear M to L. I'd probably recommend ordering a size up from what you think you will need. Exchange was dealt with quickly with free return. A+ service and product.

The Sektor Jacket is comfortable, warm and water proof. I bought for wear around the paddock and despite it having light armour I do not consider it nor wanted it for riding a bike on. It is very well made and looks high end wear, really please with it so much so I bought my girlfriend one too. Top service as ever from the SportsbikeShop staff. Five stars.

Doesn't have the premium feel of other Alpine Star kit . The first is very snug for a medium , bordering on a small. I can't say I feel remotely safe in this on a bike . It's flimsy and the armour lacks quality. If I add a back protector it will make this hoodie to tight and uncomfortable to wear . The only reason I've not returned it is because my child spilled a drink on it . I'll wear it as casual wear on foot or on a bicycle, but not again on a motorcycle. It's a no from me
