Oxford Dynamic Hip Insert Protectors Level 2

Bought to add to some jeans that had no hip protection. Had to adapt the hip armour pocket to ensure the pads sat in the correct position but hardly noticeable when wearing the jeans which is a bonus for Level 2 protection.

Apologies for the cheesy title. I have the knee protectors and needed the hip protectors for my jeans. They are very thin and light but with the added level 2 protection. If I'm being picky I would have liked a velcro square to fix them in the Jean pocket as when you take the jeans off they fall out.

Fit great in my jeans and are soft and comfy.

Fits in the insert pockets. Feels soft and comfortable. No issues.

Seems solid and flexible to adapt to your body, it is smaller than expected so may need to be fixed to avoid any movement inside the protection pocket.

They are very very comfortable, but they are not self-supporting inside the pockets of my Oxford riding jeans, i.e. when the jeans are hung up they fold down in a little puddle at the bottom of the pocket that holds them. Easily fixed with some self-adhesive pads.

Comfortable and don't take up much space despite being level 2! More room in the jeans and can get hands in the pockets as these don't stick out and take up the space in the jeans.

I bought these as I wanted to get rid of the bulky hip protector I had in my ladies motorcycle pants.
They are flexible and comfortable to wear, however you should check what the pockets in your pants are like first. My Alpine stars banshee leggings have a small hip pocket so the armour doesn't move around and feels secure, however in my Oxford original jeans, the pockets are large and rectangle so the protector can move about more.
Definitely more suited to leggings/jeggings.

Very happy with these since they offer level 2 protection yet feel thin and comfortable.

I bought these for my Oxford Hinterland trousers, they seem good quality and much more flexible than the standard fit armour, the knee armour fits well but these hip inserts would be better suited to riding jeans, for the hinterland trousers they barely fill half of the hip insert pocket, I may try oxfords equivalent shoulder insert for this particular application as it looks larger

This D3O material is amazing, it is so flexible and thin you forget it's there. I would recommend changing all your armour to some kind of D3O material and the Oxford ones are the best quality and value for money on the market.

Rating based on comfort and appearance as I've not yet had to put them to use.
