Bering Hurricane GTX Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Black

Arrived quickly as usual. first thing I noticed is how light the jacket was, tried on, I always go 1 size up 3xl very comfortable on only wear a t shirt under and warm enough also used in the rain and completely dry, excellently made

Was looking for a replacement Gore-tex jacket (as my Dane Sealand no longer fits - for sale on eBay if you're interested :0 ).

I tried on a few variations including Rukka, Klim and everyone's favourite Richa Cyclone jacket. They were all good, but not great!!
Then I tried on the Bering Hurricane GTX Gore-Tex jacket, and my body replied "Thanks, that's the one". So comfortable, so light, soooo good looking with the small red flashes and the reflector strips. I was blown away.
Tried the Richa on again, then this one again, and the difference in weight was really noticeable.
You can really see that this jacket is near the top of Bering's offerings, the attention to detail on the whole jacket is evident, from stitching to armour, from the zip in lining to placement of pockets. Just a solid, well made item. One to try on if you are looking for Gore-tex but don't want to pay Rukka/Klim prices.
I've been on-line to extend my warranty from 2 years to 5 (check out www.tranamwarranty.co.uk to do this), because I cannot see myself needing another jacket for at least 5 years.
