Bell Bullitt - Gold Flake

Was after a helmet that went with my bike and the bullitt is great.
The fit is great and secure vision is also great, it's a little noisy but with ear plugs in no problem. Very well made retro helmet with modern protection

A good quality helmet, comfortable, looks great and the field of vision is amazing. It is however very very noisy, so earplugs are a necessity.

The product delivered was not as shown in the image - flat visor delivered not bubble visor as shown.

Internal padding less than I hoped for.

Product is very noisy at any speed over 50mph.

Chin guard is very close to my face and does not feel very substantial.

Only reason I kept the lid was I liked the look of it. I am not too sure of its level of protection in a crash.

(For comparison I also have shoei and shark lids that I much prefer comfort and protection)

Fantastic visibility, feels and looks like quality. The shell is really small, I'm 59cm and the Large is perfect fit, the chin bar feels a bit close to my chin but not touching. It is a bit noisy though, but I always wear earplugs with any helmet and it's fine. Buck Rogers styling so not for touring the Northern Hemisphere just Space Travel. I have Bubble visor on now and it's really cool, people double take at it.

It's an iconic retro helmet and I was torn between this and the shoei glamster but settled on this due to the more retro styling.
Size is accurate I am a medium in shoei etc and thus fits perfect which was a worry buying online as had heard loads about oval head shapes and some head shapes may not be comfortable but tbf it fits the same as all my other helmets over the years have.
Yes it's a tad noisy but not massively so.
Comfort is great and fully removable liner is a great quality.
Feels good and has amazing visibility.
Highly recommended.

I had been keeping an eye out for this colour to be released and as soon as Sportsbikeshop had them in stock I ordered.....as always it arrived quickly and we'll packaged.
The helmet is certainly a step up from the cheaper copies and is nicely finished....the fit is spot on for me.
The only down side is that the first time I wore it it was a really cold day....the vents are incredibly efficient so I got brain freeze! (Easily solved with the reflective stickers supplied).
All round a really good and cool looking lid that feels substantial and excellent quality.

Wow what an excellent helmet - great fit comfortable feels secure and safe. Vision is good and works. Visor fit is great and operation smooth and functional as expected from Bell. And then there's the look - we'll astounding and an absolute head Turner in every sense. Love it and my favourite helmet purchase to date

Great looking, great fit. The visibility is higher on this design than many others. This also came with a black visor too which I wasn't expecting!

At the offer price this was a good buy, I find Bell helmets fit me well and this is the best one so far, the graphics are very eye catching and the internals very comfortable, as most people have mentioned there is some wind noise, but I have to say my other Bell helmets are worse than this one, the vision is the best.

I set out looking for a new retro style helmet, went through trying the now popular choices and they just didn't fit me right. I was determined not to get the Bell Bullitt due to the price (budget) and what I had heard about the fit. How wrong could I be!
Firstly it was on offer when I bought the barracuda colour scheme.
It arrived and wow you can tell it's a quality product, the paintwork (includes a bit of sparkle if that's your thing), the lining is soft and comfortable.
I tried it on and knew it fit my head perfectly, the cheeks were loose but I corrected that by buying some thicker pads and now it fits my full head and I feel safe.
Great field of vision! I've come from a Shark £100 S700 to this and they are worlds apart.

Would I recommend this helmet? Yes
Is it for everyone? No
Would I pay full price for my next Bell Bullitt? If I can avoid it no but 100% would if it's the safest helmet for my head shape.

The reason I say no to is it for everyone is
Yes it does whistle through the vents - I wear ear plugs so no concerns.
Styling isn't everyone's cup of tea.
It doesn't fit all shapes of heads but I'm sure you have heard that if it does fit it's a super comfortable helmet. I've watched so many reviews, and read many more and honestly they aren't wrong with their opinions.

None of the cons outweigh the pros which fundamentally is a helmet that fits, feels safe and is comfortable.

Great returns policy at sportsbikeshop but I found this fit true to size so had no need to return. I ordered a large based on the sizing guide and the size of my head.

Light helmet, some wind noise from vents. Fit is very good. Supplied cheek pads good for me but can be fitted with various sizes. Excellent view as good as an open face helmet. Visor only open or closed. No misting when closed though. Come with flat clear visor not domed as advertised

This is a replacement for my old bell bullitt.
The fit is excellent for myself with a brilliant field of view.
Looks great with space for coms. The magnetic visor lock is a brilliant feature also.
