If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Upgraded from level 1 to level 2 for a new Dane Ikast jacket. As expected this product is high quality and very reassuring. Even if never yet used in Ernest. !!
Looked high and low for a quality back protector to fit a Triumph leather jacket that I had bought 4 years ago, don't know why I didn't just come straight to the Sportsbikeshop first and save a load of time, you never fail to have the right products at the right price, with great service, thanks guys.
Needed a quality back protector insert for my Admiral H2Out Suit. The dimensions of the insert are absolutely spot on for my suit. Easy to insert, doesn't move around, lightweight, moulds to my back and gives reassurance. Took a while to arrive due to supply chain issues with Covid but was kept up to date by the excellent team at SportsBikeShop.
Needed a back protector for my triumph leather jacket. Measured up the space and this level 2 pro lite k appeared to be the right size. Fits like a glove, very snug fit. Forms to the curve of my back and even helps with my posture. Superbly built and gives you that secure feeling. Excellent service from sportsbikeshop
An excellent upgrade in my Furygan jacket, gives much better coverage of the upper back and shoulders. Flexible and lightweight.
You can never know how good a back protector is until you have needed it. Before then you can only go on how it looks and feels and the impression of quality it presents. This product scores highly on all such counts. It's a 3-layer sandwich construction. The 'outer' side, which would hit the road first, feels strong and durable, the inner is of strong foam and is comfortable. It's also light and well-perforated, so should work well in a 'vented' jacket with a back mesh panel. Your only problem is working out which numbered shape best fits the protector pocket in the back of your jacket. Some standardisation of shape size for pockets and protectors would help enormously, but until then, do your research to get the best fit. Too big and the protector won't go in without modification of the pocket. Too small and it will probably move from its optimum position if you hit the road.Good luck.
Lightweight back insert now with aramid fibre and up to 30% lighter, For riders requiring the use of an insert with the same high protection levels as Forcefield's full protectors.
