Great companies are born out of great passions. Nolan has always meant "passion for two wheels". The history of Nolan helmets began in 1972 when Lander Nocchi, an entrepreneur in the motorbike and car accessories sector, decided to produce motorcycle helmets that could be lighter and more affordable than those on the market at the time. He purchased, from a company in the United States, an innovative plastic material, Lexan, which was light and versatile, and started producing polycarbonate helmets. In the following 37 years, other important ideas have been put into production, and Nolan helmets have proved to be well known and highly valued products by thousands of customers in more than 70 countries around the globe.

Wasn't sure until helmet arrived if it would be the right fit, as sizing can vary between manufacturers, but having ordered a Medium for my size 58cm, this turned out to be perfect, a close enough fit to be secure but not too tight to be uncomfortable.
Visor is excellent and fits close enough to really reduce wind noise, sun visor is good, with tint not too dark, which helps with visibility when riding through shaded areas.
Padding is supportive yet very comfortable, and strap is easy to fasten and release.
Overall I am very pleased with the Nolan N21 Visor. It is a quality product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good open face helmet.

Helpful Reading Sportsbikeshop branch stocked enough options to ascertain size and feel. I'm on the border between small and medium and wanting safety over comfort, but only just. I tried a Shoei last of all, just to see, and everything did seem better but beyond my dreamers budget. Back to reality, the helpful order to try method allowed zooming in to this Nolan N120-1 N-Com. It feels good, with a wide view, quickly learnable feature adjustments and oddly feels lighter than the weight suggests. Hot slow ride segments are a pleasure with the chin bar right back and no drag unlike the previous flip. Size small was chosen and correct as the vision blurring motorway wind waggle of the last helmet has gone.
