I have used these tyres on my Triumph 1600 Thunderbird twice now and have found them to be the best tyres I have ever used for wear characteristics, handling in dry and the wet conditions.
Even after 6000 miles with a heavy cruiser the rear which has always flattened in the center first, this hasn't happened with the Avons.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these tyres.

Easy to fit - easy to ride

Good looking tyre with a tread pattern which looks like it will wear more evenly than previous versions of the Storm range.
Easier to fit than the Bridgestones this replaced. Reasonable balance (15 g).
Nice grip on dry roads straight away - not used in the wet yet, so can't comment.

I just wanna kick off by saying that although Sportsbikeshop was in the process of changing premises, they still managed to nail the service they gave me and got the tyres to me pronto! The tyres themselves appear to be holding up well, currently fitted to my 1992 Honda Pan European, for a big heavy bike it tends to square off tyres at an alarming rate. I have yet to use them in the rain as we are slap bang in the middle of a heat wave, but they seem to grip well in the dry and break free predictably and without much fuss at all. Would I buy them again - it is to soon to tell but if they hold up and do the mileage I expect of them then there is no reason why not.
