Nexx X.R3R Carbon - Glitch Racer Red / White

I had wanted this helmet for a while, so I knew as soon as I had tried it on for size I wouldn't be leaving the shop without it!
My previous helmets had been in M/L, so I tried on both the M and the L in this helmet, and the M was a perfect fit for me. Very comfortable, no wind noise at all when on the roads even at higher speeds, and my Cardo unit was very easy to fit. Very happy.

Wind noise is fantastic and fits so snug on the head. When going fast there’s a clear difference between the X.R3R and other helmets in aerodynamics, just simply cuts through the air.

This helmet was an upgrade due to ear pains with my old one. So much better less wind noise. And easy to install an intercom. Overall improvement and made riding enjoyable again. And great service from the guys and girls at Norwich branch.

Fantastic design, looks good and everyone has said the colour is nice.

I wanted to see what the difference is when you spend that little bit more than the average on a helmet, well this ticked all the boxes, at high speed it really does come into its own, wind and noise level acceptable, really pleased with the helmet, as for the sportsbikeshop they never fail, proper service.

The helmet looks great and it should for over £500
However the iridium blue visor scratches really easily and the visor lock switch is very cheap and came off my first helmet but sportsbikeshop replaced the helmet within days so cannot fault them.
All the gear I’ve bought from them have been great just slightly disappointed with nexx build quality.

After a bit of deliberation, having previously had a Nexx helmet I decided on getting another and I'm definitely glad I did. The Nexx X.R3R doesn't disappoint at all. I was a little hesitant at first before taking the plunge. This helmet is a nice comfortable fit and the noise is a lot less than my last helmet. I'd previously read a couple of reviews that stated due to the aerodynamic design it gets better as you pick up speed. They were spot on! I used to find my head bobbing around a bit but thankfully that has lessoned too. Would I recommend this helmet… No! That would mean more people buy one, lol. Seriously though, the look of this helmet is just amazing.
I have to say a big thanks to 'Sportsbikeshop' too! I ordered and was told there'd be a lead time of around 3 weeks, then I was told it'd be even longer. To my surprise the helmet was delivered around 10 days unexpectedly. Would I buy from them again also… most definitely. Thank you guys.
