HJC C91N - Kaon Yellow

I bought two of these helmets, one for myself and one for my wife.
We both like them, we both find them comfortable to wear, initially I had a pressure headache after a few hours of solid wearing, but mine is bedding in and the pressure is decreasing and can now go about 4 hours of solid wearing, my wife never had a problem.
They came with pinlock inserts and don't steam up. venting is pretty good, but on the hottest days I find myself lifting the visor a lot to get some air.
I normally take a size L in HJC but I had to size up to XL on this model, my wife is normally a size M and she was happy with size M in this model.

Compared to my old C91 this C91N is so much quieter. Has all the functions required and fits the HJC intercom the same as my old helmet.

Far more better fit and more comfortable then older c90 I had before. Also less noisy. Ordered by click and collect while on holiday and was ready to collect the next day. Great service once again.

Wanted new helmet that was comfortable. Hjc was a great fit with the added bonus plus is lift open front so lot easy when pop into shops and don’t have remove helmet . Also so much more noise reduction than old helmet well worth the price would buy Hjc in future

Have had flip up helmets before but they were noisy compared to this one. Good fit and seems well made. Easy to use mechanism
One slight downside is that you will definitely need a pinlock insert as it does steam up easily even with vents open. If you intend using an intercom be aware that the Smart HJC 10b thos helmet was designed for is no longer available and the later 11b does not fit.

As always about tight to start but once worn in then it's great, noise reduction isn't the best and also can't ride with the folded part up.

Bought this for my partner to use as a pillion, it’s a flip up helmet which doesn’t look too bulky. It has a built in retractable sun visor too.

It does the job

I changed from an adventure-type helmet to this one, and I’m glad I did because it is much quieter, less expensive, and just the job.

Ordered as try before you buy . Which is a great option. I also ordered a new jacket which didn't fit so that saved a lot of hassle .the helmet is a good if not a little tight fit . I ordered a large size as all my others are large . My AGV is
59 -60 whereas the HJC is 58-59

The helmet fits well. It appears to be well made, and the interior is decently padded. It is stylish and I like the colour scheme. The noise suppression could be better, and the chin strap is a bit awkward to undo, but at the price you can't have everything! Overall, a good buy.

A stiffer shell and generally better build quality than the IS2 design that it replaces, good fit and quieter than my Duccini full face

I've had the i90 and just recently purchased the c91n both great helmets for the money and very comfortable aswell as being able to use klarna makes them even more affordable.
I will say the i91 sun glasses are better and further away from your face than the c91n and the fact that the visor on the c91n acts independently to the flip up can be a bit annoying to me sometimes but all in all great helmets I did also find the i90 to be quieter against wind noise. But these are all minor niggles for me as the helmet is so comfortable.. I'd also advise going a size up from what your head measures as I found the i90 large came up quite tight hence buying the c91n if the i90 had xl in stock I would of bought it again.
