HJC Helmets

Bash hat is a bash hat. What impressed me was/is the level of service the guy I spoke to listened to me and advised me, was very helpful, not only with this product but a few other items as well so I'll be going back and telling anyone who asks to try this particular shop, shop is clean tidy and well set out with a variety of stuff for the biker in your life.
So pat on the back and well done.

Given the low cost of this helmet I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was to wear straight from the box. It doesn't drag when open and is easy to use.
A few down sides. It can be a little noisy and draughty when closed but the vents work well.
The adjustable level for the internal visor is a cool feature and the external visor is easy to remove and replace.
Maybe not as good as my Shoei Neotec, but at a third of the cost I'm not complaining.

Have had HJC helmet so thought I'd upgrade. Tried in the store, team great and helpful as always so went ahead and ordered it. Tried it at home for 10-15 mins and sadly gave me a headache - maybe my head the wrong shape? Great service by the call centre team and returning for the same one I have.

Great helmet, very comfortable, good vents for when it's hot.

Needed a new helmet after trying a flip front which I didn't like. I wear glasses and needed grooves for these. The HJC F71 looked good and has grooves. I would have bought one at the full price (£299), but I found it at £189 online from SportsBikeShop. I tried one on elsewhere and found it a perfect fit...
I am now on the Isle of Man, acting as a marshal, and wearing the helmet daily. I have found the ventilation to be better than any of my previous lids and the glasses fit comfortably. (I have previously had glasses damaged by pressure from a helmet). Well satisfied with the F71.

A very good helmet, with a nice sizing, especially for people (like me) between sizes. Sun visor, have a nice shape and a good weight... the only complaint I have - it's quite loud. The problem, in my opinion, is the desire to fit everyone. Dedicated speaker slots, or rather the lack of good cushions that can be placed there, result in a very loud noise level from outside. I'm the kind of rider who rides to be alone, to isolate myself from the rest of the world, and the need to be in constant contact isn't even on my list.
