HJC RPHA 31 - Plain Black Great Helmet very comfortable - good quality and looks really nice
HJC F71 - Pearl White I wore it for the first time yesterday on a 200mile plus ride out. It is very comfortable and very well ventilated. It was a windy day but my helmet is stable and not too noisy. The Fazer is notorious for wind noise.
Its light and well made with an easy visor action. Its plush inside and a nice place for your head to be.
HJC F100 - Plain Metallic Blue Ive had this 11 months.
Likes: light, great width of vision, quite quiet. When chin bar flipped fully back and visor down its very quiet too. Has a sun visor and pin lock. Visor is optical grade clear. Great ventilation. Love the dual homologation. 3 year warranty. SBS & HJC after sales warranty is exceptional.
Dislikes: The design flaw is that the pinlock visor catches on the rubber seal when you flip it up and down. As a result after several months the micro scratches have ruined the pinlock. The sun visor stopped flipping down and was jamming on one side. The full flip over of the chin bar stopped working and was jamming half way. Forcing it resulted in the side panel hinge cover popping off. When flipping the chin bar down it really squeezes your cheeks in. This may get better with time. It is a little tight on my forehead and was painful after an hour, but has eased with time, but still not great. My dodgy hesd I guess. The chin strap seems to creep and loosen. I've had to retighten it a couple of times. No built in integrated comms/ sat nav available, but that's perhaps a bit disingenuous on my part.
2 stars due to all the issues I've had. I think perhaps I've been unlucky, however the scratched pinlock issue is a bad design flaw. It may have been addressed now by some modification. HJC were great sorting the problems and fitted a new pinlock and side plates. Its like a new helmet now. SBS comms were great and in resolving the warranty claim.
HJC HJV12 Inner Sun Visor The original visors on these HJC helmets are made from a super soft material. One has to take care when cleaning it. My one had very fine lines that would not polish out, hence buying a replacement
HJC C10 - Hiper White / Blue / Red Helmet purchased for Kart racing, very comfortable size was perfect very very close to measurement. Good field of view due to wide opening would highly recommend for a budget helmet.
HJC F100 - Plain Metallic Blue Fits well, I'm a 58.5cm head and went with large....pre 20.06 regs I was always a medium in HJC. Coming from a Rpha 90 I wanted something light and this ain't bad..weighs 1616 grams. I ride a naked bike no screen and it's actually quieter than expected...let down a little by wind noise on the left side via the sun visor slide switch....Don't understand after all the design effort HJC don't fix stuff like this especially as noise is a big issue for some. My Rpha 90 was the same as well. However it's not bad with the F100 so don't be put off. Overall I'm chuffed I bought it!
HJC C71 - Faber Black After a long break from bikes I bought this helmet to replace my now 20year old RX7RR. While it doesn’t quite have the same feel to the visor and vents, considering the massive price difference I am really happy with this helmet.
It’s a fantastic looking helmet, comfortable and relatively quiet. The built in drop down visor is a nice touch but does sound clunky when operated.
As per other reviews I have found it easy to fog up, popping the visor slightly does quickly clear the mist and no doubt adding a pin lock would solve the issue.
I would highly recommend this product as it proves budget doesn’t mean cheap!!
