HJC Helmets

Well. What's better than an F71 fibreglass standard helmet? The F71 carbon, of course! And around £200.00 price difference. Carbon is marginally lighter and has a chunkier d-ring otherwise and not surprisingly the same. I like the F71 design. Fits my head from the off, secure and cossetting. Good visor mechanism and includes pinlock. You pays yer money. I have both.... Fitted Cardo into F71 which is great and fits well. May try HJC version in carbon just to see if it ingrates slightly better. All in all a nice helmet which won't disappoint.

HJC helmets in general fit my head so from the off has been comfortable and secure. Good visability. Have seen comments as slightly high noise levels but wear good ear plugs so never an issue. Fitted Cardo (which I had as a present) from the off and no issues making a neat fitment. Helmet has built in recesses to accomodate mike, speakers. HJC do there own intercom which I may have tried otherwise. All in all a great mid priced helmet with great spec and every day usability.

Most importantly it's a great fit. It's comfortable and the design is stylish.
The internal sun visor works well but could do with coming down fully as it leaves a slightly annoying gap at the bottom.
The air vents seem to work well also.
Price wise I got it here saving a third over a well known motorcycle superstore.
